Moving On

*After Vacation*

College is about to begin tomorrow. After our group trip to Niall's brothers farm house he hasn't spent a lot of time with us. Nor have we spoken in a long time. He always found excuses to not come. He does it because he has been spending a lot of time with Anne. She literally uses him. I feel hurt but try to ignore it.

My life too has changed. I have been hanging around this guy from college. His name is Shawn Mendes. So sweet and funny. He really seems pretty amazing. Louis has found himself a girlfriend,her name is Kate. And she is pretty amazing. She is like a little kid at heart. Well anyway.

It was around 6 in the evening and I was reading a book while sitting on my bed. Thats when my phone buzzed. It was a text from Shawn and our conversation went somewhat like this:

S:heyyy! :-)
M:hi! 'Ssup?
S: I actually had something to tell you...
M:okay...?
S:no,not here,could you like meet me right now near the park...?
M:uh,okay cool. Will be there in 5mins...
S:Cool. See you there xx

So he wanted to meet me. I just wore a normal tshirt and jeans. I walked down to the park. He stood there in his checks shirt all buttoned down with a white tshirt. He waved at me and I smiled.

"So what was it that you wanted to talk to me about?" I asked.

"Lets walk?" He asked in his calm sweet voice.

"Sure." We began walking. He couldn't stop looking at me and blushing.

"Well, Merryl I guess I'm in love." He said looking down.

"Well,thats..uh nice?" I said.

"Uh, with you?" He blushed so much that he became red.

"Wait,what?" I looked at him suprised.

"Yeah, I-I love you... just happend out of no where I know...but I just do...so be my girlfriend?" He looked down.

"Are you serious?" I asked.

"Y-yes I am." He looked at me.

"Shawn,I-I'm sorry, I do like you...but I don't know." I said becoming a little sad. I don't know if I wanted to be in a relationship or not. I was still thinking of Niall. I don't know if it was gonna happen,or if I liked him or not.

"Please, One chance Merryl?" He looked at me seriously.

"But what if you break my heart? Like how it happend earlier..." I told him.

"I won't I promise you...." Shawn said and I could see the truth in his eyes.

"Okay then Shawn!" I smiled widely.

"I love you I love you I love you!" He said and we hugged.

"I love you too..." I whispered in his ear.

We walked hand in hand for a little while. Spoke and laughed. I think I would be okay anyway Niall has Anne. We were about to go to his place but Liam called up saying that they were going to watch Mission Impossible and wanted me to come too. I agreed and asked Shawn to join. He was okay with it so we left.

Niall's P.O.V
The boys forced me to come for the movie so I didn't resist. Anne too came with me. Things have been pretty good between the two of us I know I should be happy but I cannot stop thinking of Merryl. But why did I even think of her so much? She is just my bestfriend and I had Anne. But where was she?
