GUYS I WENT BACK TO READ SOME OLDER CHAPTERS AND IM SO SORRY YOU HAD TO DEAL WITH THAT TERRIBLE WRITING 😭😭😭
I can't wait to finish the book and finally edit everything.
This is one long chapter. I couldn't break it into two, so it'll have to be one.
Any specific scenes you guys would like to read?

West's POV:
There they stood. The three people that caused this whole problem in the first place.
Vincent Robins, the bastard leading the way, with his two golden ticket jackasses dragging behind him like dogs off the leash.
Holy shit. If there was ever a moment to break my perfect little poker face, it was now.
Maxwell, to be fair, barely flicked his bored eyes across the room. But Jaxon? He fucking loved it. He had a slimy, punchable, grin that made every cell in my body scream to break court protocol and rearrange his jaw.
But I had to sit here and deal with it.
If I stood up and beat the shit out of him right now, I'd probably get fined, arrested, maybe banned from seeing my own family again.
Not worth it.
You're not here for him. You're here for your mum. You're here to make sure Simon doesn't completely destroy what's left of her life.
That didn't stop the slow, satisfying reel in my head where I smashed Jaxon's face into the polished courtroom floors though.
And it wasn't just sports rivalry, or the fact that he was a glorified daddy's boy who thought money made him bulletproof.
It was Mads.
It was everything he did to her.
The way he used her — like she was a goddamn toy he could throw away when he got bored.
The fact that she still flinched sometimes when his name came up, like she couldn't scrub his fingerprints off her skin no matter how hard she tried.
If I ever had a chance to fuck someone up and walk away without consequences, it'd be him.
Right here. Right now.
The three of them started walking in. My eyes landed on Jaxon first. He glared at me like I was the one that dragged him in here.
Vincent caught my eye next, he was no better. He looked like a old and grumpy shit, worse then my own dad did.
Expect my dad didn't look that old.
My looks clearly came from my dad, so one thing I wouldn't have to worry about was wrinkles even in my fifty's. Something I was grateful for.
Next my eyes landed on the piece of shit Maxwell. Who was yawning like he was at a boring movie.
If this courtroom had a smell, it'd be cheap cologne, money, and disappointment.
I leaned back in my chair casually, pretending like I wasn't calculating how many years I'd get if I just happened to "accidentally" knock Jaxon's teeth down his throat.
Probably not that many.
Maybe they'd even give me a medal for community service.
Afterall everyone in the room hated him but couldn't touch him because of all the shiny zeros in his old man's bank account.
Money: the world's greatest condom.
Vincent moved to Simon's side of the room without hesitation.
