I LOVE YOU ALL SO FUCKING MUCH THANK YOU TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU.

ALSO IM SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING EVERYONE. Life really fucking hit me and I just couldn't find motivation to pick up the book, or any book/piece of writing for that matter.

I'm going to try to write every chance that I get, for you guys, only because I know that there are actual people reading my book.

So I made a Instagram account for this book, where I'll be dropping teasers before chapters, one liners, some exclusive content that didn't make the storyline, character moods and aesthetics and future stories!

Username is : @xxsleepyreader and the profile photo is the same as Wattpad.

And I know you guys are starved, so I made this chapter a little longer then I was planning to.

ENJOY THE CHAPTER, DON'T FORGET TO VOTE, COMMENT AND SHARE!

**********

After breakfast was over West had left to go run drills with his team, leaving me and the other idiots alone to explore camp.

Then someone—pretty sure it was Jake—yelled, "We should go to the lake!" and that was that. By the time I'd chucked on my black bikini everyone had already started heading towards the lake. Towels slung over shoulders. Speakers in hand. Someone even carried a bag of marshmallows because priorities, apparently.

The lake wasn't far, but the walk felt longer with the sun overhead. When we reached it, it stretched out wide and blue, glittering like something out of a summer movie. People were already splashing around in the shallows, others paddling out in canoes someone had lugged in. But my attention snapped straight to the cliffs.

People were up there, jumping off straight into the glittering water under the sun.

The jump was no joke.

It wasn't Everest, but it was high enough to make my stomach drop. Flat stone jutted out over the deepest part of the lake, smooth and sun-warmed. The kind of place that made you feel invincible until you actually had to stand on the edge and look down.

Cole and Jake were already climbing like they were racing. As usual.

"Bro, I bet you ten dollars, that I can get a cleaner dive then you," Jake said, elbowing Cole in the ribs.

"At this point, go ahead," Cole said, rolling his eyes, "You'll just be adding to the hundreds of dollars you already owe me."

Me and the girls shake our heads, laughing at their bickering. We reached the top of the cliff, and I started to follow more slowly. Not because I wanted to jump—God no—but because I wanted to be there cheering.

The top was worse.

The lake sparkled below, but it felt so far. People were dots. Trees stretched beyond the shoreline, the tops brushing the sky, and just past them, you could see the outlines of our camp—the tents, the fire pit, the messy cluster of teenage chaos we called home for the week.

The minute we made it to the top, Jake and Cole both leaped off, screaming like five year olds high on sugar.

Dear Lord.

Then it was Lia who was already at the edge, hands on her hips, grinning like a kid in a candy store.

"Okay, who's first?" she asked, turning around.

Em let out a sound that was somewhere between a whimper and a groan. "Uhhh, not me. Absolutely not."

I walked to where they were standing and peeked over. My stomach instantly flipped.
