The next day, I decided it was time to focus. I'd already had my fun teasing Ayanokoji and messing with the class, but now I wanted to actually make a difference. I started paying attention in class, focusing on every lesson, and helping my classmates with any problems they had. Slowly but surely, I started building connections with everyone, especially the girls.

Whenever I hung out with Kushida, Kei, Matsushita, and Haruka, I kept my face composed, but inside my head? Well, that was a different story.

God, they're all so beautiful, I thought as I watched Kushida smile sweetly while helping someone with their work. Kushida really has that innocent, kind charm. But I know better... Still, her cuteness is undeniable.

When Kei talked about something funny, her confident demeanor shining through, I couldn’t help but think, Kei’s got that cool, fashionable vibe. She knows how to carry herself, and it’s pretty damn attractive.

Matsushita was more of the quiet type, but there was something about her calm and composed nature that caught my attention. Matsushita has that understated beauty. She’s not flashy, but her elegance makes her stand out.

And then there was Haruka, with her easygoing, carefree attitude. Every time she laughed or said something sarcastic, I admired how relaxed she seemed. Haruka’s got that laid-back, fun personality. She’s the type of girl who doesn’t take life too seriously, and I love that.

Despite my composed face, my mind was always racing with thoughts like these. It was hard not to admire their beauty and charm.

---

By the end of the first month, I had become friends with practically everyone in class. Even the boys couldn’t help but glance my way now and then. Looks like I’ve become the biggest crush of the guys, I thought with a secret smirk, and some of the girls too.

Every time I caught someone looking at me, I played it cool, keeping my usual composed demeanor. But inside? Heh, I’ve really got this place wrapped around my finger.

---

In that first month, I made it a point to explain to my classmates not to waste their points on useless things. "Do not waste and save your points. You’ll need them later," I’d say with a calm but firm tone.

At first, some of them seemed unsure. "Why shouldn’t we spend our points? What’s the harm?" one of the boys asked, looking a bit skeptical.

I kept my expression neutral, my voice steady. "You don’t know what’s coming. This school is unpredictable. It’s better to be prepared than regret it later."

And to my surprise—and a little bit of amusement—they listened. Maybe it was my charm, or maybe they sensed I knew more than I was letting on, but either way, they agreed with me.

---

By the end of the month, we had made so much progress that Chabashira-sensei called us all together for a congratulatory speech.

"Congratulations," she said, her voice steady, as always. "Class D has made significant progress. You’ve managed to go from the least performing class to second place among the first-year classes in terms of points."

The entire class cheered. I kept my face composed, as usual, but inside, I was grinning. Second place already? Nice.

After class, everyone gathered around me, thanking me for helping them and for guiding the class so well. "You’ve really helped us, Horikita," one of the boys said, and I could feel the admiration in his voice.

"Yeah, we wouldn’t have made it this far without you," added one of the girls, giving me a grateful smile.

I nodded, keeping my face calm. "I just did what I thought was best for the class," I said, though inside, I was flustered. They're actually making me blush…

Then came the big moment.

"Why don’t we make Horikita the class leader?" Kushida suggested, and to my surprise, everyone agreed.

"Yeah, you’re perfect for it."

"You’ve been guiding us all along."

Even Ayanokoji nodded in agreement, which caught me off guard. Even he’s impressed?

I couldn’t help but blush internally, though I maintained my usual cool expression. "If that’s what you all want, I’ll accept the position," I said, my voice calm, though my heart was racing.

---

That night, after everything had settled down, I stood in my room and finally let all my excitement out. I was dancing in joy, twirling around like a little kid. I’m the class leader! This is amazing!

The fact that I had gained everyone’s trust and was leading Class D to victory felt incredible. I was more motivated than ever to work hard for the class. I knew what the future held, and with my knowledge of the light novel, I was confident I could guide the class to even greater heights.

After calming down, I stared at myself in the mirror. "You’ve got this," I whispered with a smile, feeling more determined than ever.

With that, I climbed into bed, still smiling to myself. Tomorrow was another day, and I was ready for whatever challenges lay ahead.
