The room was silent as I stared at my reflection in the mirror, the moonlight casting a soft glow across my features. This past year had been a whirlwind. Reincarnating as Suzune had been an experience unlike any other. Knowing the future events hadn't made things any easier-I'd lived through challenges, rivalries, and moments of growth that tested my resolve. Each decision, every interaction, had been more intense than I ever expected.

I got a news yesterday that my brother, Manabu, was leaving the dorms tomorrow because now he had graduated. So I decided to see him off tomorrow. With determination, I reached up and loosened the tie that held my hair in its usual ponytail, letting it fall free. Change was needed.

The next day, Manabu met Ayanokoji outside the dormitory before leaving. Manabu's voice was calm as he addressed Ayanokoji. "Progress well and watch over my sister."

Ayanokoji's expression was impassive as he nodded. "I will."

As Manabu turned to leave, I called out him from a distance, "Brother!" He turned, his eyes widening slightly when he saw me. My hair was now cut short, a symbol of change and new beginnings. For the first time in a while, surprise flickered in his eyes.

"Suzune," he said, his voice softer than usual. "You've changed."

I smiled, a mixture of pride and melancholy in my expression. "Yes, I have. I wanted you to see this before you left."

He stepped closer, looking at me with a hint of approval. "I'm glad to see this growth in you. Keep moving forward and never lose your determination." His smile was small but genuine as we shook hands. "Good luck, Suzune."

"Thank you," I replied, my voice steady as he turned and walked away, his figure growing smaller until it disappeared from sight.

From a distance, Ayanokoji observed quietly. I approached him, noting his calm demeanor. "Ayanokoji, does this new look suit me?" I asked, a hint of nervousness lacing my words.

He glanced at me, eyes as unreadable as ever. "It suits you," he said with a simple nod, devoid of any obvious emotion.

A small smile crossed my lips. "Thank you."

We exchanged a few more words before parting ways. The weight of the past year settled in my heart as I returned to my room. The mirror reflected my new appearance, a symbol of the trials I'd endured and the strength I'd gained. With a deep breath, I steeled myself for the next chapter of my life.

"Second year," I whispered, determination hardening my gaze. This year would be even more challenging, but I was ready. Lying down, I let a confident smile form on my face as I drifted off to sleep, prepared for whatever awaited me.
