The trauma I had faced was behind me now, though it had left its mark. With my newly developed strength, both physically and mentally, I was back to guiding my class with the confidence I once held. Ayanokoji stood by me, as he always had, silently observing while occasionally offering advice when I needed it.

It was time for the final exam before summer vacation, and this one, I knew, would be especially tough. I couldn’t afford for our class to slip up now. I spent hours scanning through my memories and piecing together every bit of information to remember all the questions that was in this exam in the light novel.Once I’d gathered enough, I carefully noted down the questions.

Later, I met with Ayanokoji and Kushida outside. I handed them the list of questions with a satisfied grin.

“These are from the previous year. I got them from a senior, and I’m pretty sure they’ll show up again,” I said confidently, handing the notes to Kushida.

She raised an eyebrow, clearly curious. “How did you manage to get these? It’s nearly impossible to get hold of such information.”

With a teasing smile and a playful flip of my hair, I crossed my arms and narrowed my eyes. “Oh, it’s because of my charm,” I said in a graceful, teasing voice.

Kushida chuckled. “Of course,” she said with a knowing look.

I winked at her. “Make sure these get to everyone. I want the whole class to stand out.”

She nodded. “I’ll take care of it.”

Ayanokoji, however, shook his head. “I’ll pass. I don’t need any credit for this.”

I wasn’t surprised. Typical Ayanokoji. But I didn’t push him. He never wanted to stand in the spotlight, and that was fine by me.

The Day of the Results:

The day of the results arrived, and to no one’s surprise, everyone in Class D passed with good grades. The atmosphere in the classroom was buzzing with excitement and relief. I sat at my desk, pretending to be absorbed in a book, but secretly glancing around the room, smiling to myself at everyone’s success.

The compliments started rolling in, and I could hear my classmates talking about how helpful the questions had been. I felt a wave of warmth rush through me.

Suddenly, to my surprise, Kushida spoke up. “Actually, it was all thanks to Suzune. She was the one who managed to get those questions. Without her, this would’ve been much harder for everyone.”

My eyes widened, and I felt my face heat up as everyone turned to look at me, offering their gratitude and admiration. “Suzune, you’re amazing!” “I don’t know how you did it, but thanks!” I felt flustered by the attention, my cheeks warming under the barrage of compliments.

When I glanced at Kushida, she met my eyes with a soft smile. I knew then that our time spent together had meant something to her—she was improving, and in her own way, she was thanking me because I helped her a lot to improve her mental health to make her a normal girl and now she truly thinks me as a friend. Ayanokoji, as expected, sat quietly, ignoring the praise being thrown my way.

The Night of Reflection:

That night, I stood in front of my mirror, staring at my reflection. I had come far. From the fear and uncertainty that had once plagued me, I had grown into someone stronger—someone capable. A smile crept onto my face as I admired the person I was becoming.

“You’ve come a long way, Suzune,” I whispered to myself. My reflection looked back at me with confidence. I had changed, not just in strength, but in my ability to lead and care for those around me.

With those thoughts, I climbed into bed, the smile still on my face. I was proud of how far I’d come, and I knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, I was ready to face them. Drifting into sleep, a sense of calm and satisfaction washed over me, my thoughts filled with the victories and friendships I had gained along the way.
