The school day passed quickly, but I had something else on my mind. Sakura had been on the sidelines for a while, shy and hesitant to interact with others. Remembering how much stronger I'd become, not just physically but mentally, I wanted to help her step out of her shell.

During lunch, I approached her. "Hey, Sakura, would you like to go shopping with me and some of the other girls later?" I asked with a warm smile.

She hesitated, fidgeting with her sleeves. "I-I don't know..."

I chuckled softly. "Come on, it'll be fun! We'll have a great time."

After a few more moments of encouragement, she finally agreed.

Shopping with the Girls

That afternoon, Sakura, Haruka, and a few other girls met up, and we went out shopping. At first, Sakura seemed uncomfortable, staying close to me, but as the day went on, she started to relax. We visited different stores, and her face lit up when we tried on accessories and clothes. Haruka, with her easy-going personality, quickly bonded with Sakura, and I could see them sharing quiet giggles as they looked through outfits.

We laughed, shopped, and spent the afternoon enjoying ourselves. Eventually, Ayanokoji joined us, keeping his usual quiet presence, but even he seemed to enjoy the atmosphere. I caught him smiling a little as Haruka teased him about being out shopping with a group of girls.

Sakura's shy demeanor began to fade as the day continued, and by the time we all headed back, I could tell she had truly enjoyed herself.

As we made our way back to the dorms, Ayanokoji and I walked side by side, chatting idly. I couldn't help but tease him. "So, did you have fun shopping with us? You didn't even buy anything," I teased, nudging him playfully.

He shrugged, offering his usual calm response. "I was just there for the company."

Before I could respond, we noticed a commotion ahead. Sakura was being harassed by a shopkeeper, and her face was pale with fear. Without a second thought, I rushed forward, Ayanokoji close behind.

"Hey, back off!" I called out, stepping between Sakura and the shopkeeper, my newly gained strength and confidence making me stand tall.

The shopkeeper hesitated, clearly intimidated, and Ayanokoji, with his quiet yet imposing presence, stood beside me. Before things could escalate, security arrived, and the man was taken away. I turned to Sakura, who was trembling and on the verge of tears.

"Hey, it's okay now," I said softly, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "You're safe."

Sakura looked up at me, her eyes wide with gratitude and relief. "T-thank you, Suzune."

I gave her a comforting smile and walked her back to the dorms, bidding Ayanokoji goodbye. "Take care," he said simply, knowing I could handle things from here.

Sakura's Confession:

When we reached Sakura's room, she hesitated before opening the door. "There's something I need to tell you," she murmured.

I nodded, sensing her unease.

"I'm... an influencer," she confessed, her voice barely above a whisper and showing me some of her posts.

"And that man... he's been stalking me for a while now."

My eyes softened with understanding. "Sakura, you don't have to be afraid anymore. You've got friends now-Haruka, me, everyone. We're here for you."

She looked up at me, her eyes brimming with gratitude. "Thank you, Suzune. I've always felt so alone, but... not anymore."

I hugged her and gently patted her head. "You're not alone, and you'll never be. We're friends now."

A New Beginning

The next day, Sakura joined us for lunch, and this time, she didn't hesitate to sit with Haruka and the others. The girls welcomed her warmly, especially Haruka, who had taken a liking to Sakura's quiet nature. As we ate together, I noticed how much more comfortable Sakura had become. She laughed softly at Haruka's jokes and even shared some of her own thoughts, something she hadn't done before.

By the end of the day, Sakura had become a part of our little group. She even thanked Ayanokoji for helping her, though he, in his usual manner, brushed it off with a simple nod.

Reflections:

That night, as I lay in bed, I smiled to myself. Helping Sakura overcome her fears, watching her bond with the others, and seeing her find her place among us-it was a step forward, not just for her, but for me as well. I'd come so far, and knowing I could make a difference in someone's life filled me with a quiet sense of pride.

With that thought, I drifted off to sleep, content and hopeful for the future.
