The graduation day had arrived, and the air felt thick with emotion and bittersweet pride. I stood in the schoolyard, degree in hand, as cherry blossom petals danced through the air, symbolizing both endings and new beginnings. All around me, classmates were giving each other tearful goodbyes, smiling through their sadness as we prepared to part ways.

A familiar voice brought me back from my thoughts—it was Ayanokoji. He approached, his usually stoic expression softened with a hint of gratitude. "Horikita, thank you… for everything. You've changed me more than I thought possible."

I smiled, nodding with appreciation. "Thank you too, Ayanokoji. You've been a great friend." We exchanged a quick side hug and fist bump, a gesture of our friendship and all we’d been through together.

Just then, Sakayanagi approached us, her usual elegance unwavering. "Congratulations," she said, extending her hand. "It’s been a pleasure having such strong competition throughout high school."

“Same to you, Sakayanagi,” I replied, shaking her hand, admiring the grace and respect she carried even with her rivals.

Ryuen soon followed, giving us a smirk and a handshake. “You two weren’t half bad as rivals. Kept things interesting,” he remarked, and Katsuragi, Ishizaki, and Ibuki stood beside him, nodding in agreement. Ibuki and I shared a quick, competitive fist bump, both of us smirking at each other in acknowledgment of our friendly rivalry.

After they left, Ichinose joined us, a shy smile lighting up her face as she slipped her arm through Ayanokoji's. “Actually Horikita, we… we've started dating now,” she announced, her cheeks turning red.

Though I already knew, I feigned surprise, teasing her. “So you finally got Ayanokoji, huh? Dreams do come true.”

Ichinose blushed even harder, hiding her face on Ayanokoji’s shoulder. He looked amused, a soft smile just visible as he lightly patted her shoulder, comforting her.

As we laughed, Ichika and Nanase walked over. Nanase, now the new student council president, congratulated us warmly. “I’ll do my best to keep things in order as the student council president!” she declared proudly.

Ichika’s eyes shimmered as she looked at me and Ayanokoji. “I’ll miss you both,” she admitted, a touch of sadness in her voice.

I placed a hand on each of their heads, smiling fondly as I caressed them like little sisters. They hugged me, and I felt a surge of warmth, knowing we’d made memories they’d cherish.

Ayanokoji and I then made our way through the crowd, meeting our classmates one last time. Each one thanked me, expressing gratitude for helping lead us all to Class A. And Kushida and Kei even hugged me expressing their gratitudes. Watching them all, I felt a deep sense of pride in our journey together.

When we reached the school gate, I was surprised to see my brother Manabu waiting with Nagumo, Asahina, and Kiryuin beside him. Nagumo and Kiruin congratulated us, and Asahina even gave me a warm hug, leaving me with a gentle smile.

Manabu, ever composed, met my gaze. “Congratulations, Suzune. You’ve done well. And I am very proud of you for graduating from Class A.”

“Thank you, Brother,” I replied, humbled by his acknowledgment. Ayanokoji spoke with them for a while, and as he did, I took in the sight around me: friends laughing, some wiping away tears, the familiar school building standing tall behind us.

In that moment, I felt a rush of memories from my journey as Suzune Horikita, a character I once admired deeply. Meeting all the characters I once admired, forming friendships, rivalries, and bonds with them that I’d carry forever—it was a surreal, incredible experience. I knew every event, every twist, yet living through them had been an entirely different challenge. It was far harder than I’d ever anticipated, but through the struggles, I’d grown, and I’d found friends I’d never forget.

A tear slipped down my cheek as the memories washed over me. I quickly wiped it away, knowing this was a new beginning, a chance to build my own path beyond what I knew of Suzune.

Finally, Ayanokoji turned to me, offering a handshake. “Thank you, Horikita. For everything.”

I took his hand firmly, giving it a final shake. “Likewise. We helped each other, every step of the way.”

With smiles on our faces, we looked back at our school one last time, letting the cherry blossom petals carry our memories into the future.

And with that Chapter 60 ends along with the story.
