The much-anticipated day of the festivals finally arrived, and the school was brimming with life. The sports festival kicked off in the morning, the sound of cheers echoing across the grounds. Sudo charged forward in every race, his determined expression and raw athleticism leaving no room for doubt—he was on a mission to win it all.

“Come on, Sudo!” Onodera shouted from the sidelines, her eyes bright with excitement. She had just completed her own event, finishing second but grinning as if she had won gold. The two exchanged a thumbs-up, their silent camaraderie a testament to how close they’d grown over the past week.

Koenji, as expected, breezed through every event. His movements were effortless, as if he were simply out for a stroll. “Truly, nothing here poses a challenge for the unparalleled beauty of Koenji Rokusuke,” he declared, not a bead of sweat on him.

“Show-off,” Sudo muttered, but he couldn’t deny the man’s durability.

As the morning events wound down, I glanced over to see Ike and Shinohara’s food stall bustling with customers. Shinohara handed out plates with a genuine smile, her eyes occasionally darting over to Ike, who was energetically calling out orders.

“Keep it up, Shinohara! We’re crushing it!” Ike cheered, and for a moment, Shinohara’s expression softened, a rare warmth showing through.

“You’re not half bad at this, Ike,” she responded, brushing flour off her apron. Their teamwork was seamless now, the initial bickering replaced by an understanding born of countless hours working side by side.

Inside the classroom-turned-café, excitement buzzed as the girls changed into their maid uniforms. I stood by the door, taking in the sight. Kei adjusted her apron, her blonde hair flowing as she inspected herself in the mirror.

“Looking good, Kei,” I thought to myself, a small smile tugging at my lips. Next to her, Kushida was effortlessly tying her ribbon with her usual cheerful grin. “Kushida always knows how to look her best,” I mused.
