18th birthday (part 1)

Hiccup's POV

"Hiccup! Hiccup! A mail has been sent for you!" I was in my hut when Tuffnut barged in.

"Oh well thanks Tuffnut, how did you know it was for me?" I asked.

"Well the Terror Mail had a symbol that I think is from your dad or is not? Now that I think about it, I don't know if it's from your father." Tuffnut began scratching his head.

I chuckled, "Don't worry Tuff, I'm pretty sure it's from my Dad."

"Oh well, see you later H!" Tuff ran out of my hut and closed the door.

I sighed and looked at the letter, I'm pretty sure I already knew what my Dad wrote for me.

Toothless must've sense my distress because he came up to me and started licking me. Which I hate because taking out his saliva takes so long.

"Okay, okay bud stop doing that." I laughed cause it tickles a little bit, finally Toothless stopped but puts his head on my lap.

I patted his scaly head and smiled at him, "You always know how to put a smile on me, bud." Toothless just nuzzles himself more into me.

I look at the letter then began opening it.

Dear Son,
         How are you? Berk's missing you a lot and luckily it's your 18th birthday tomorrow! And we are throwing a celebration for the Chief's son's 18th birthday, which is you. Hopefully you and the riders would come here a little early since I have something very important to discuss with you.

From your Dad

I kinda expected Dad would throw me a celebration for my 18th birthday but what would be something important that he needs me to fly early to Berk?

I stand up and walked out of my hut and walked towards the clubhouse.

Narrator's POV

"Hey! Give me that!" Snotlout chased the twins which the twins circled around the table.

Astrid was bored so she just watched the three chased around the clubhouse.

Fishlegs was reading more about the book of dragons and learning more about it.

"We saw it first!" Ruffnut yelled at Snotlout to which he jumped on her and Tuffnut being Tuffnut, jumped on top of Snotlout.

"Aha! I got it!- AHHHH!" Snotlout shouted and backed away from the twins who were holding daggers, pointing at Snotlout.

"Give it or we're slicing that thing." Tuffnut pointed to what Snotlout was holding.

"Tuff, Ruff put those daggers down." Hiccup walked in holding the letter.

"No! He has our banner! We saw that earlier and we want to make it a flag for our hut!" Ruffnut shouts at Hiccup then returned her attention to Snotlout.

Hiccup raised his eyebrow at Snotlout and crossed his arms.

"BUT IT'S A S FLAG! I can use it more because THE FIRST LETTER OF MY NAME IS S!" Snotlout shouted.

"Yeah but we found it first, so it's ours!" Tuffnut pointed the dagger more at Snotlout.

"CAN THE THREE OF YOU JUST STOP?"

The riders looked at Hiccup in shocked because he only shouts at them when there are dragon hunters and Hiccup Haddock never shouts.

"Woah Hiccup, are you okay?" Astrid walks up to Hiccup and touched his shoulder.
