Murder Drones: Interstellar Annihilation (Previously Insanity)

-Part 9-

The auditorium was dark, the party was over. The banner was folded neatly and put to the side, the bowls and table clothes collected. It was once vibrant, however now, was abandoned, and slightly eerie. Uzi was still present in the colony, at her room with Lizzy, N, V and Doll, the six talking, seemingly about something important.

Lizzy: "..So like, why did you bring us here?" She groaned, seemingly annoyed. Despite the party, Lizzy still was irritated by Uzi's presence.

Doll: [RUS] "Yes." She nodded. "I would like to know that as well."

Uzi cleared her throat, adjusting her beanie slightly.

Uzi: "..Well." She began, pausing for a moment. "I just wanted to do a briefing about what will happen when I'm gone, and all that."

Thad: "Go on." He nodded.

Uzi: "So.. you three, including Khan and some of the WDF will take care of the colony while I'm gone, ideally.. I trust you the most, plus your well known in general."

Lizzy: "..And what do you expect us to do-?"

Uzi: "Go on missions I suppose. If I need you, I'll still be in touch with you all."

Thad: "..Sure, I'm all for an adventure!"

Doll: [RUS] "..What's in it for me and Lizzy."

Lizzy: "Yeah, why should we help you?"

Uzi: "..Wel-"

S.D N: "..Well, it would make you more popular." He cut Uzi off.

Lizzy: "I'm listening.."

S.D V: "And it'll make you look like a badass." V chimed in, smirking a bit.

Lizzy: "..Fine, I'll do it." She said, reluctantly, giving in despite holding a grudge.

Doll: [RUS] "If Lizzy is doing it, I will do it as well."

Uzi: "Very good then-!" Uzi smiled. "I already told my dad about this, he's fine with it.. actually he did in a way suggest it but eh.. doesn't matter." She shrugged. 

Thad: "So when are you leaving?"

Uzi: "..There's been a few draw backs.. mainly J returning, and escaping. I mean the pod is pretty much almost done, but we still need a plan."

S.D N: "I'm sorry for letting that happen-" His smile faded a bit.

Uzi: "No No-! It's not your fault, seriously man." She shook her head, giving N a reassuring grin.

S.D V: "You're emotion's have always been.. out there, it's all good."

Doll: [RUS] "You never told us what really happened."

Uzi: "Have I not-? Well basically, J came back.. whole fight happened, we captured her, she manipulated N, shot the control panel to the ship and escaped."

Doll: [RUS] "The planet?"

Uzi: "What do you mean?"

Doll: [RUS] "Has she escaped the planet?" She repeated.

S.D V: "Most likely, we don't really know.. I mean I can't pick up any signals coming from her, but we never know."

Uzi: "..Well then, We'll just be heading back to the pod, I need to work on a few things and just make a plan."

Thad nodded.

Thad: "See ya Uzi!" He waved. "And you two." He looked over to N and V. Doll waved as well.

Lizzy remained quite, and at this point, was on her phone. Thad elbowed her lightly.

Lizzy: "..Ow-! Fine- Bye-" She groaned.

S.D V: "See ya Liz."

Lizzy: "Bye V!" She said, with a bit more energy.

The three now exited Thad's room, the door closing behind them.

Uzi: "I'll do another meeting with them and my dad when we are about to leave. A bit more detailed than this."

V and N nodded.

S.D N: "Sounds good!"

The three now exited the colony, walking over to the spire, and eventually, to the pod. The night was as it usually was, snowy, dark, and eerily silent, the only sound around besides them was the wind, and sometimes, pieces of scrap or rubble clanking against each other, falling off buildings or cars, or being stepped on. The pod stood tall, looking more operational than before, with some slight improvements to the framing.

S.D N: "You've done a great job on this." N remarked, smiling.

Uzi: "..Thanks." Uzi smirked proudly. "I do engineering in my spare time."

S.D V: "..Pfft. Nerd." She laughed a bit.

Uzi: "Shut up-!" Uzi grumbled, crossing her arms.

S.D V: "I'm only teasing you Uzi.. calm your short little ass down."

Uzi: "I'm not that short-!"

S.D V: "Agree to disagree?" 

Uzi: "..Fine." She mumbled. 

S.D N: "Should we head inside? Make the plan and all that?"

Uzi: "Mhm." Uzi approached the pod, followed by N and V, the three entering. Uzi had a seat on one of the chairs, N sitting on the other, and V leaning off on one of the walls. Uzi began thinking, writing some stuff up, supposedly ideas for a plan. After around half an hour, V broke the silence.

S.D V: "So genius, what's the plan?"

Uzi: "..It's not easy to make one." She frowned.

S.D N: "..Yeah.. but.. THE SUSPENCE IS KILLING ME-!"

Uzi: "Calm down-" She sighed. "..Okay, here's a basic idea of it.." She cleared her throat. "Once we take off, the journey will be quite slow, the engines have been damaged.. a lot.. meaning we can't go at a regular speed. To make up for it, we send Doll, Lizzy, Thad, my dad, and some of the WDF to find a sort of.. JcJenson base, almost, maybe a lab.. I don't know to gather information about the company, that we can use, alright?"

S.D V: "..Sure."

S.D N: "Sound's great! But is that it?" He tilted his head.

Uzi: "No no." She shook her head. "..If there is an accident in space, we will just try and land on a planet.. and try and get our bearings, and possibly fix the ship. We don't end up on earth instantly, we land on their moon, hide out for a bit, and formulate more of a plan. I honestly don't know completely how they lay everything out over there. Plus if we can't find a planet, we're robots, no need for air."

S.D V: "..Sounds good. Well, I'll see you guys tomorrow, I'm going to just.. get some shut eye for a bit, conserve energy and all."

N nodded.

S.D N: "..Alright, well Uzi, I'll just help you with what your doing."

Uzi nodded, and the two began expanding on the plan, editing out mistakes, and just having a good time over all. V sat down, leaning her head against the wall, and dozed off into sleep mode. Silence fell upon Copper - 9, the only sound being the faint, quiet chatter of N and Uzi.

Elsewhere, sound was present, and in fact everywhere, the rumble of the engine of a ship filled the hanger, as what seemed to be a hundred or more  figures, most being human, ran around, getting fuel tanks ready. The metallic monster was nearly ready to take off.
