Murder Drones: Interstellar Annihilation (Previously Insanity)

J powered back on, her visor displaying a throbber, and eventually, her eyes. She looked around for a minute, before her eyes set on N, a small smirk forming on her face. N turned over, and noticed that J was woken up.

S.D N: "..Oh-! Hey there J." He waved, smiling softly.

S.D J: "..Where are the others?"

S.D N: "..Outside, looking for metal."

S.D J: "..And they put you in charge?" She snorted.

S.D N: "..Mhm-!"

S.D J: "..Well N.. since we're alone.. can we talk?"

S.D N: "..Of course-!" He tilted his head. "..About what, though-?"

S.D J: "..Just.. asking about what happened to you.. y'know, why you left the company."

S.D N: "..Oh..-! Well.. off the top of my head.. I saw a worker.. probably being Uzi.. and.. she aimed this thing at me, and fired. It all went black after that.. but when I rebooted, I ended up seeing, well, barley anything..-"

J cut in.

S.D J: "..And let me guess, your scanners weren't working, and you thought she was a disassembly drone?"

S.D N: "..How.. did you..-"

S.D J: "..You're predictable.. then what happened?"

S.D N: "..Well.. she pretty much just convinced me the company was evil, and that.. they'd leave us here."

S.D J: "..And you fell for that..? A shame.. you are very gullible N."

S.D N: "..But.. It's the truth.. right-? Even.. if it wasn't.. I didn't appreciate how mean you were to me.. when I still worked for them."

J chuckled.

S.D J: "..N.. I was only mean to you because I cared about you.. and I wanted to see you improve, sure you weren't great, but.. I just wanted to see you succeed, think of it as tough love."

N tilted his head again, clearly confused.

S.D N: "..But.. you.. threatened to kill me.. then.. the virus.. and-"

J cut N off again.

S.D J: "..N.. if I hadn't done the second part.. the company would've demoted me, and you don't want one of your best friends getting demoted, do you?"

S.D N: "..I.. I guess.. but, what about the bullying-?"

S.D J: "..It was all a joke N.. and a way to get you tougher."

N though for a moment, before looking back at J.

S.D N: "..Y..you promise..?"

S.D J: "..Of course I do." She smiled. "..You can trust me.. right..?"

S.D N: "..I guess so! And all this time I thought you hated me."

J shook her head.

S.D N: "..Well I guess it was all just a big misunderstanding-!"

S.D J: "..Mhm.." She paused for a moment. "..Can you let me out of these things?" J gestured to the chains.

S.D N: "..I.. would.. but Uzi said I'm not supposed too-!"

S.D J: "..Uzi.. really..?"

S.D N: "..Y..yeah..-"

J sighed, shaking her head.

S.D J: "..N.. she killed me.. are you really going to trust the person that killed one of your good friends?"

S.D N: "..She.. was doing it to protect me.. though-?"
