Murder Drones: Interstellar Annihilation (Previously Insanity)

-Part 22-

Uzi was on her knees, her face plastered with sadness and despair. She stared at the explosion, focusing on it and only it, being somewhat ignorant to E, who was approaching slowly behind her. Her visor displayed tears, as she wiped them away, mumbling the word 'N' in a desperate, saddened tone. The grinding of E's blade slowly grew louder as he got closer. He stood over Uzi, staring down at her.

S.D E: "Would you like to join him?" He asked, a wide, eerie grin on his face.

Uzi glanced behind her and looked up at E, letting out a scream before crawling away from him, however he put a foot on her back, stopping her.

S.D E: "I will not ask you again, Uzi."

Uzi stared at the floor, composing herself.

Uzi: "F..fine." She nodded.

E now brought the blade up over his head, and suddenly, brought it down. Uzi closed her eyes, wanting it to be over quickly, however, nothing happened. She was not stabbed. No oil seeped or gushed out of her, someone had saved her. She turned her head over to the blade, and noticed another one keeping it away from her body. She looked over, and lo and behold, it was N, who winked at her, and shoved E off.

Uzi: "N..?" She said, surprised with a hint of relief and happiness.

S.D N: "Uzi- Where's your railgun?" He asked, frantically.

Uzi glanced around the room, frantically searching for it, before laying eyes on it's green glow. She rushed over to it and picked it up.

S.D N: "Great.. great, now give these engines hell! I'll hold him off-!" N yelled back.

Uzi nodded, and fired a shot at one of the engines, causing considerable damage, as pieces of scrap metal fell onto the ground, and numerous fires starting. N held off E, the two sparring with their blades, seemingly more or less equally match, as if E was not trying. E swept N's legs, quickly switching over to a missile launcher and firing a shot at Uzi, but was instead deflected by N, hitting a wall. Someone emerged from this wall, with a few security drones. It was G.

S.D G: "Sorry I'm late, E!"

S.D E: "GO GET THE WORKER!" He yelled over in a panic.

G nodded, and opened his wings, flying over to Uzi. Uzi ducked, causing G to slam into an engine. She did this numerous times, until G had enough, and nose dived down to Uzi. In response, she grabbed a piece of scrap metal and used it as a makeshift shield of sorts, blocking his attack with the strong, resilient metal, causing sparks to dance around the room. N, meanwhile, continued to spar with E, eventually pushing him back enough to land a few shots with his SMG.

S.D E: "I'VE HAD ENOUGH-!" He yelled out, his mouth in a frown, and his visor eyes furious in frustration. E dashed over to N, grabbing him by the neck, and slamming him into a wall, repeatedly. As this happened G kicked the scrap metal out of Uzi's hands, as he began to strangle her. N, seeing this, froze. He stopped himself from being smashed into the wall, and quite easily, kicked E off of him in what seemed to be a fit of rage. He now sprinted over to G and leaped into the air, kicking him into a wall, as he launched a barrage of punches his way, as well as continues jabs with his tail, injecting incredible volumes of nanite into G's core. He dropped G, who by now, was dead. E watched as this was happening, somewhat amused, a smirk plastered on his face. N turned his head over to him, an angry, furious and fiery expression all over his face, causing E to loose his once wide smirk, he backed away as Uzi just stared at G's body, taken aback by N's actions. N ran over to E and grabbed him, which was met by a fierce response, as E scratched and kicked at N, but failed. N made his way to one of the engines, and grabbed a hell of a lot of scrap metal, bending them and tying them around E, strapping him to the largest engine. He walked over to Uzi and picked her up, now getting away from the engine, firing a barrage of missiles at it. He ran out of the room with Uzi as E screamed, the engine causing a huge explosion, and the ship seemingly falling apart faster than ever.

Meanwhile, V was beaten and dented, on the floor. A looked down on her, a small smile curling on his lips. However, the ship began rocking even more than before now, he lost his balance and slammed into a wall. V regenerated, but due to the sheer damage to her core, took time to fully regenerate. By now, N and Uzi entered the room, staring at V. N ran over and picked her up.

S.D N: "Are you alright?!" He said in a panic, worried for Uzi.

S.D V: "I'm.." She groaned, a sad frown on her face. "I'm fine.. Just need a bit more time to get back up."

S.D N: "How long..?" He tilted his head.

S.D V: "Few seconds." She responded calmly.

Uzi: "Well hurry the help up this place is gonna fucking blow-!"

S.D V: "Fine.. fine I'm done-" V rolled her eyes.

N, still carrying Uzi, opened his wings and flew off, V following closely. A stared at them before opening his own wings, and chasing them down. Explosions could be heard now, echoing through the halls and rooms, as the ship began slowly falling apart. N and V dodged falling pieces of scrap metal and crates, A doing the same.

S.D V: "How the hell are we going to get him off our tail-?"

S.D N: "Ehh.. I don't know-"

Uzi: "I have an idea-!"

S.D V: "What?"

Uzi: "Get him to like, slam into something thick.."

S.D V: "Really? That's it?" She sighed. "Well it's the only thing we have, so alright, c'mon N."

They made a sharp turn right, A doing the same. They now made their movements unpredictable, and saw a narrow hallway that would surely get A stuck, and a vent above them. V and N made it seem that they would fly into the hallway, however at the last second, flew up into the vent, causing A to crash into the hallway, and getting ingulfed by the explosion. V and N traversed the vent system, now spotting a hangar room. They kicked open the vent cover, flying down and spotting a small fighter ship, unoccupied. They also saw some humans running over to it, so they quickly flew down and entered the fighter through an open hatch on the roof. She now began turning on the engine, and getting the controls ready. N shut the hatch, the humans banging on it, begging to be let in. Eventually, Uzi gripped the steering wheel and booked it out of the hangar, the ship completely blowing up not too long after their departure.
