I wish for my zip line rope to cut,
to drift into the trees' quiet arms,
away from the noise inside me.

I wish for my car to crash,
for metal and road to hold me still,
a break from the ache that fills me up.

I wish for my body to stop fighting,
to give in, to let go,
to find rest where pain can finally fade.

These wishes linger in the silence,
a quiet cry from deep within-
not for death, but for rest,
just a moment's relief from the weight I carry.

Hey, I hope y'all are doing well!
This poem is just about my midnight intrusive thoughts, nothing serious, I promise.

Take care <3
