Finally, we arrived at Taj West End

Finally, we arrived at Taj West End. My father had the entire house on their toes. By the entire house, I mean myself and my mom. He rushed us out of the house telling we would get late, we would encounter traffic and whatnot, but guess what? We encountered no traffic and reached a bit earlier than the scheduled time. Anna was already there, and with him was a lady who looked around Mom's age or older.

I gave the car to Vallet and walked to where my parents were standing. By then that lady who was with Anna was literally in front of me.

"Yeshtu muddagi kansti. Yaar kannu beelderli." She said and before I could process, what she said, and why she even said that, she took the kohl from her eyes and put a dot behind my ear.

(So cute you look. Let nobody put a bad eye on you.)

To be honest, I was taken aback. No one had ever made such a gesture to me. I normally just act as though someone is putting a dot of kohl behind my ear when it's mostly myself. My mom does ward off evil eye, but it's either after we've come back from an event or after I fall ill post any event. But this, this was wholesome and creepy too. I do not even know who she is, and she has already touched me.

"Hello, she is Lakshmi!" Anna came and introduced the lady.

"Hello, Mrs Gowda. Nice to meet you! Your son is such a gentleman." My father intervened.

Oh, so this is Anna's mom?

"Namaste! Nice meeting you." My mom greeted Lakshmi.

"Namaste! Namaste!"

"Let's go in! Shall we?" Prajwal led the way and we followed.

Lakshmi was walking just by my side.

"Sorry if I made you feel awkward." She spoke when Mom walked over to Dad.

"Oh no it's fine. Anyway, you are Anna's mom. So it's fine."

"You know that he's your Anna!?" She asked rather surprised.

"Yes! I call Prajwal, Anna. He met me in Mysore once and insisted I call him that and since then I do." I confessed.

"Oh. He asked you and that's why you call him Anna." She said huffing out a sigh.

What does she mean by that? Is he my Anna? No way! It can't be. I mean how can it be? He is a Gowda and so well off. And if my father ever knew he had a son, he would do anything and everything possible to get back his son. So, no he cannot be my sibling.

*Maybe you are thinking wrong. Maybe your parents aren't your parents.*

"What do you mean!?" Why does my subconscious always have to spoil my mind?

*I mean, Prajwal might not be your father's biological son. You might be Prajwal's sibling. Your parents and his parents are the same but your current parents might not be your actual parents.*
