"Dude this showroom looks good. You sure they aren't treating her well?" Bhargav asked upon reaching the location. I told him everything that's happened so far from the London incident till date.
"Yup! You'll find out soon."
We walked in together. The watchman greeted us with a smile, which wasn't the case the first time I visited.
"Yen ri full khush aagidira?" I asked him
(What sir, you are fully happy?)
"Amrutha madam bandidaare ivattu. Avru maatra nange wish maadodu. Adakke khushi." He said bringing a smile to my face and hearing what a good soul my sister is.
(Amrutha ma'am has come today. She is the only one who greets me. That's why I'm happy.)
"Welcome Mr Gowda and..."
"Bhargav Shetty!" Bhargav introduced himself while I was busy searching for Amrutha.
"Mr Bhargav. How can I help you?" Sagar got right to business.
"I am looking to gift my younger brother a car. I wanted it to be second-hand because I want to see how he's going to handle it and then probably get him a brand new one."
"You've come to the right place. Mr Gowda would have told you a lot about us."
"Yes, he has. He couldn't stop talking about you and your family."
I turned my head to Bhargav. What was he saying? This wasn't what we planned on.
"Please take a seat. What kind of car are looking for, I will get a catalogue for that."
"A sedan or a hatchback." He answered as we took our seats.
"Where's your sister dude?" He asked when Sagar was out of earshot. I just shrugged still scanning for Amrutha. Just then, I found her coming out of a cabin busy on her phone.
"She's coming there." I directed Bhargav's gaze to her.
"Damn, she's pretty."
Just as those words came out of his mouth I regretted my decision of getting him here. Who is he to admire my sister? No way is any man thinking about her in any way possible.
*What if she has a boyfriend?*
"I know she doesn't have one."
*Then what about when he finds someone? You do know she will marry in the future!*
"Just shut up!"
I shut my subconscious and concentrated on my friend next to me.
