A new day comes with a fresh start. I was feeling immensely positive today. I was finally going to spend my peaceful day in Mysore. The only saddening part was leaving Diego behind at the farmhouse.
I started my car, avoiding Diego's gaze, and left for Mysore. It took me about an hour and a half to reach Chamundi Hills. I took my time inside the temple premises, soaking in the peace she gives to all her devotees.
One can never be satisfied by the peace at Chamundi betta but still, everyone leaves satisfied with this place. I too was no exception. Although I wished to stay longer, I knew it was time to head out.
I walked towards to the car park only to find a few puppies sleeping near the tyre of my car. I slowly woke them up and gave them some biscuits I had in the car. Making sure they stayed in a safe place, I left to have my lunch.
For lunch, I decided to go to Sapa, a famous cafe in Mysore. It wasn't as crowded as expected to my relief. I ordered some food and sat down at a table. I fetched my phone from my bag to see a lot of messages.
One was from my mom asking about my whereabouts - replying to her, I moved on to the next important one. My friends! Sahana had messaged just a few minutes ago.
Sahana: Guys! Guess what!?
Shreya: Are you getting married?
Sahana: No ya! Something even better.
Ramya: What is it? Tell fast.
Sahana: I'll tell only when all of you are online.
Me: We all are online. Just tell us!
Sahana: I finally changed my stream. I'm officially a PR person! No more HR!
Shreya: That's amazing!
Ramya: Congrats bro! We have to celebrate this.
Me: Cool! Did you get into any PR team?
Sahana: Yes! Celebrating! I got into the best PR agency in Bangalore and guess who their new client is!?
Ramya: Who?
Sahana: DHRUV NANDA!
I literally spat out the water from my mouth.
Me: Are you serious? That racer guy! OMG!
Shreya: Oh wow! Now you're gonna deal with all celebrities.
Ramya: Are you handling his account!? Please say yes.
Sahana: YES! Because I'm new to the group and he wanted a change in PR perspective, I am handling his account. I might even be seeing him often.
Me: Seeing him often huh?
Sahana: Shut up ya! For all I know he has some girlfriend/fiancé he's hiding from the world.
