"Just. Stop. It." Yukta screamed from behind.

"What happened?" Sagar rushed to her.

"Nothing. Just these credit card people. However, when I tell them I don't want one, they don't listen. Some or the other thing they keep on telling." She clarified.

"Aiyyo. Ashtenaaa... sari bidu." Saying so Sagar walked towards me.

(Aiyyo. Only so much... just leave it.)

"Sorry for the interruption. Where were we?" He asked once next to me.

"You were talking about your daughter."

"Oh yes! She is just there. She doesn't work at all. What to do, we provide for her and she is just enjoying her life out of our money."

"Isn't your money equally hers too?" I questioned. Come on, for the world she was his daughter. How cannot he berate her in front of some stranger?

"Yes of course. That's why she is enjoying at our farmhouse near Mysore. She has taken a weekend trip to Mysore all by herself. Some peace she wants to go find." He leaned closer to me gesturing me to come close too. "To be honest, it is peace for us here at home when she is not here." He whispered with a hint of laughter in it.

How can he do that? I am still a stranger to him and she is his daughter, for the world of course, but you get my point right? He is openly berating her like she is nothing.

*Leave him. Look at the good aspect. You found out she is alone in Mysore. You can go visit her. Maybe tell Appa also to go and see her.* My subconscious told.

"Looking at it. I've used my father's money for this car. You know the payment was made from his account, right?" I said trying to defend her. She is my sister after all.

"That is different. Now enough about her." Sagar held out his hand. "It was nice meeting you and I will get back to you very soon with all the details." He was grinning like he had won some sort of lottery.

Who was to tell him the truth? Nobody!!! Poor him.

I bid adieu to Sagar and Yukta, and even handsomely tipped the watchman, Murali for bearing with Sagar.

Instead of going home, I parked the car to the side and texted Bhargav. Bhargav Shetty is a very good friend of mine. He is a complete gym rat, and why wouldn't he be? He owns his own chain of gyms and fitness centres.

Me: Mysore ge hogtidini, urgent kelsa ide. Nin mane free idya?

(I'm going to Mysore, for some urgent work. Is your home free?)

Bhargav: Yes macha. No one is at home. Btw what urgent work?

Me: Adella amele heltini. Key yaar hattira ide?
