I've been following her all day long. Who would have thought I'd see such a day? But I must admit she looks so pretty, so elegant just like...
My eyes get watery looking at her. Such beauty, the urge to protect her, fulfil all the things I couldn't do in the years she wasn't with me, with us.
Especially when she wore a saree I had this urge to block her way, take the kohl from her eyes and apply a dot on the back of her ear. I had to control the urge as well as doubt myself for even thinking like that. But that's what love does to you, and my relationship with her is one of love and protection.
There was a point where I thought she almost caught me but I escaped. Seeing her enjoy the beach wholeheartedly made my heart happy. She was enjoying the street food but here I was wishing she wouldn't fall ill.
I was busy keeping an eye on her when my phone pinged with a message... I reluctantly checked my phone to find my best friend Kunal Grover's message.
Kunal: What's happening Gowda? Heard you're behind some girl.
Me: I'll kill this Ayaan.
Kunal: Chill man. Now tell who's she? At the least send a picture.
Me: Why? Ask that traitor.
Kunal: I asked, he didn't give. It was against his professionalism.
Me: And this wasn't!? Great!
Kunal: Listen, you better tell me. I'm your freaking best friend.
Me: Just know she's important. Very important!
I just lifted my head from my phone to take a glance at her but she wasn't anywhere to be seen. I'd just been texting for a few seconds or around a minute and she's already out of sight. Amazing!
Me: I just lost her.
Me: I mean, I lost her from my sight! I'll give you all the deets later.
Kunal: Dude! You're stalking her!? Now I need those details, but first, go get her my man!
I smirked at his message and ran towards the beach entrance. I didn't find her anywhere, not near the auto stand, not near the washroom, what the hell! I lost her.
*Stupid! You didn't lose her. You know where she's staying and remember you aren't the only one keeping an eye on her. Guru's men are also on duty.* My subconscious reminded me.
I huffed a sigh of relief. I took out my phone to call Guru's men but thought to visit the hotel she was staying at first. I took an auto to the hotel, and upon reaching I found out she hadn't come back. I didn't waste a second in making the call.
"Yes, sir! How may I help you?"
"I need an update on the target. Where is she?" I asked curtly.
