How on earth do they deal with this Sagar daily? I must give it to these ladies to deal with him. Especially, Amrutha, she is not meant to deal with him at all. I can't wait to get her out of this suffering.
"That she still doesn't know. But for now, you can take it to be at home." Sagar replied to a question I asked Ammu. The audacity of this man to side-step my sister. And he thinks he cracked a joke.
"Maybe you haven't allowed her to seek herself. Maybe you are not a supportive father." I had to give back, I couldn't hold it in. He has to get a taste of his own medicine. And trust me it was worth it. But Yukta came to his rescue as usual. Being the typical Indian wife, she is ready to save her husband even though he is at fault.
I decided to ignore their family drama and turn my attention to my sister. Just then, Sagar said the best thing he could have uttered...
"Exactly. You need to know our family. You are after all an important client."
"How lovely of you. I would love to get to know your family better." I replied. What more do I want than to get to know how the entire family treats Ammu? When the target gives me a chance to destroy him inside out, why would I even miss such an opportunity!?
I noticed Amrutha was lost in thought, I was curious to know what exactly she was thinking. Her thoughts were good ones because what followed was so beautiful, her laughter. It wasn't a full-on laugh but good enough for me to cherish it.
I took their leave with Sagar promising to reach out within 2 days for the family meet. He requested me to bring my dad along, but I won't. Not risking anything, this is still Phase 1.
Timeskip
I reached home by late evening. Guru and Appa were in the living area. I tried to sneak past them but I guess they were waiting for me because they caught me sneaking in.
"Why are you sneaking in? Did you do something?" Appa asked.
"No! Why would you think like that?"
"Because you had to give us updates on what's happening. You haven't updated me, Guru, Pankaj, no one knows what has happened!" Appa said.
"Phase 1 is complete. I have gotten into Sagar's good books. He is blinded by the money I'm ready to offer."
"Don't get too happy. He is not an idiot. Be careful." Guru warned.
"I know. But what he did today was unacceptable but also he did something else that has allowed us to destroy him inside out."
"Please elaborate," Appa said making himself comfortable on his chair. "Wait! Before you can start, let me connect Pankaj also." He said taking out his phone.
I waited till Pankaj uncle was on call.
"Yen samachara? Everything is going as planned alva?" He asked as soon as Appa informed him about the call's purpose.
