{Reid's POV}

"Hey I'm sorry about having to bail on the date. It's just I have to go fix the pipe or my house would be flooded, my kids would get hurt, JJ's mom would get hurt." I say "It's alright. Family comes first." Kate says. Wow. She truly is an amazing girl. "Well maybe if this doesn't take too long, maybe we could still go on a date." I say. I didn't know if it was technically a date but I'm calling it that since I asked her out to go with me. "Yeah I'd like that." Kate says smiling "Ok we're here." I say as we pull up "I just want to warn you a head of time. I don't bring many girls home, so the kids might get a little loud." "Oh it'll be fine! I love kids!" Kate says as we get out of the car. I go to unlock the door then turn to Kate. "Brace yourself." I say with a smirk "Let's do it." She says as we walk into the house

{Kate's POV}

Wow! This house is beautiful! "Spencer thank goodness you're here- Who is this?" I woman says. She looks older, maybe JJ's mom. "Sandy this is Kate Callahan. She just joined the team and moved out here. I was going to show her around." Spencer says. I've actually been for a few years but that didn't matter. A little blonde headed boy runs up to me with I'm assuming his little brother behind him. The oldest boy, maybe 6 looks up at me and squints his eyes then to his dad. "I don't like her." He says "Henry!" Spencer says "Go play upstairs." He says as he turns to me "I'm so sorry about that." "It's fine." I say "No it's not. He wouldn't of said that. It was rude. He knows better then that." He says as he puts his  hands on my shoulders. I just stood there. Unable to move. Unable to talk. I can feel the heat from his body on mine. I look up into his eyes. Oh his eyes! The perfect shade of brown with a small hint of green! His hand makes its way up to my cheek. I still don't move. He looks down at my lips and my breathing gets heavy. He puts his other hand on my cheek and leans in. He kisses me and I kiss him back. Everything in that moment was perfect.
