CRAIGE'S POV.
5 Years had past, I was in so much pain, those yesterdays created a huge impact on me, I couldn't forget those days when I felt incomplete, like a part of me is missing, but everything changed the moment I met Hanna, nagbago lahat ng pananaw ko, nagbago lahat ng expaactation ko, even the flow of my life started to change, I felt my life was slowly covering up the holes I felt for the last few years, I thought that my life was just an empty space and she changed all that.
Naglalakad kami ni Hanna sa Hallways and she smiled as I intertwined our hands. It was early in the morning and the soft beeping of the monitors in the hospital was a gentle reminder of the world we had built together, and the witness of the hardworks we had done.
As doctors, we had seen it all, the highs and lows, the triumphs and tragedies, we shed tears. But through it all, our love had been the constant heartbeat that kept us going.
Going back to the day that I met her, when she had been broken and lost. I used to hate her for she acts differently compared to others, But I had seen past her facade, and slowly I was seeing her kindness and I know that I had slowly chipped away at her defenses.
While looking at her I know that I had found my soulmate. Hanna was more than just a partner, she's my best friend, my confidant, my enemy, my greatest gift and almost my everything.
"You know, I never thought I'd find someone like you, ang sungit mo kasi" Hanna suddenly whispered, enough for me to hear it. I suddenly felt a heat coming from my face. Kahit matagal na kami ni Hanna, hindi parin nagbabago ang nararamdaman ko sa kanya.
I smiled by the thoughts of it, I remember how mean I was to her, na parang pag andyan siya, sira na agad 'yung araw ko.
"I also didn't thought that I'd find someone who could put up with me," I teased her, remembering those days, it's so happy to go back to those days but those memories will be part of our past and I know that we will create more.
She rolled her eyes. "Hindi ka naman mahirap mahalin, Craige" Saad nito at huminto.
"You're the kind of man, that every girl would dream, ikaw 'yung tipong gagawin ang lahat mapasaya lang ang taong Mahal mo, you are the type of man who boost confidence, you are the type of man who can make a girl think that she's special, Kaya kahit anong mangyari, I will always put up with you, even on the days where we don't understand each other, because that's how much I love you" She added that made me complete.
I couldn't control it anymore, I wrapped her in my arms, feeling the warmth of her embrace. I felt my heartbeat synchronizing with hers as if my heart knew that she was the only woman that I would want to spend my life with.
In that moment, I knew that I would never let go of her. That I would hold on to her, through the ups and downs, the triumphs and tragedies. Because with her by my side, I knew that I could face anything life threw at my way.
I let go of her hugs and then I held both of her cheeks and planted a kiss on her. As the sun peeked through the blinds, casting a warm glow over the hallways, I smiled. It was the best moment of our love, It is a reminder that our love was a beautiful, imperfect rhythm that made us whole.
