North Atlanta High School's graduation ceremony had been moved to June 3rd, 2 days after prom which no one made a big fuss
It was now June 3rd, but 7pm and graduation was at 10am. Sergio was given the #1 valedictorian because there were 2 others, making a total of three since they all had GPA's very close. Being that he was valedictorian, he gave a speech at the end of the graduation ceremony even though he felt nervous
The seniors had long graduated, Yuri's friend group were all dining together at Ocean Prime. It was her dad's graduation gift to them, he was going to pay for all of them even though he stayed home with his wife
They all sat wherever at the table because none of them had a preference of who they wanted to sit by, but Yuri sat next to Sergio and made to be a coincidence. Reign was on the other side of her and on the other side of Reign was Jae
They had just been seated for their reservation and their waitress was on the way from the back, they had menus though
"What you getting?" Sergio asked Yuri in a low tone as she had her head in her phone
"Salmon or lamb chops, what you getting?" She returned the question, texting back some of her family members that had told her congratulations and sent her money
"Steak prolly or chicken." He shrugged, looking in her phone
She side-eyed as she could see him looking in her phone, she swiped out of her messages with her aunt and went to text herself

When he read the message his face changed from confusion into straight laughter
"Nigga, fuck is you laughing at?" Renzo mugged him from across the table, Sergio stopped laughing and mugged him
"Niggas just be laughing, too happy and shit." Q shook his head, scoffing
"How y'all mad he laughing, what the fuck." Jae called out their bullshit
"No, but why are you laughing?" Yuri turned her head to look at him, playing dumb
"Y'all came to a restaurant just to eat dick." He said
All of the boys started to laugh because of his comeback, thinking that it was slick as hell but Yuri wasn't laughing because she felt like she was apart of that "y'all"
As all of their laughter died, the girls looked at each other because they definitely didn't find it that funny, not in the slightest
Sergio took his phone out of his pocket since it had dinged, his phone being in his pocket was the reason he was even looking in Yuri's
