Mai felt chills going down her spine. "A war?.. She's just joking, right Erika?" She asked trying to laugh but her voice was not able to hide her fear. Erika nodded. "It must be... Desmond wouldn't do that, would he?.." Erika tried to sound reassuring, grabbing Mai's hand for comfort.

They held onto each other trying to convince themselves that it was all just a stupid joke. Suddenly the building started shaking heavily. "I-Is that an earthquake?" Mai yelled and grabbed Erika to drag her under a table. "What's going on?..." Erika cried out as she hugged her legs. She lost her entire positive attitude, she had never been this scared before. It was the fear of something threatening specifically them that they had to fix. Suddenly William stormed in. "Erika, what is happening? Why is there an earthquake?" William asked concerned. Suddenly Erika's head hurt as she saw a vision. The building was collapsing burying the people underneath it if they couldn't get out. Erika yelled. "WILLIAM YOU NEED TO PROTECT EVERYONE QUICKLY. THE BUILDING WILL BE DESTROYED SHORTLY." She commanded him, the deep anxiety rooted into all her features. William almost jumped in fear and grabbed both of the girl's hands. They were as shaky as his own. He pulled them out of the room knowing he would have to act fast.

He turned to Mai. "Send everyone in this building a warning to either get out of it completely or meet me in the second floor if they can't get out that fast with your telepathic abilities. I have an idea." He stated and Mai nodded nervously.

She focused on sending the telepathic messages to everyone in the building, which took her a second because she needed to feel how many people were in there at all, something she could also use her abilities on. She then formulated the message. "To everyone in here, This is Mai speaking. This is not a joke, the building will collapse shortly and bury all of us underneath it. Get out as fast as possible and if you're in a higher floor, get to the second floor, William will think of something. "

Soon many teachers guided students out of the building into a save area as well as to William when they would be not quick enough to leave. Atleast 90 people surrounded the three teenagers soon. Among them was friends they recognized, as an example Gudrun. Mai sprinted into her arms. "GUDRUN! I THOUGHT I'D NEVER SEE YOU AGAIN, I WAS SO SCARED!" Mai yelled out. Gudrun smiled holding her best friend. "I'm fine, don't worry. I had just gotten back from getting some food when all of the sudden I hear your warning. I came downstairs as quickly as possible!" She explained holding onto Mai tightly.

Another person they recognized was Kate, who was without Viktoria.

"KATE OVER HERE!" Erika called and Kate quickly made her way through the masses to embrace her friends."Erika, Mai,William! I'm so glad seeing you guys!" She stated and Erika smile. "Where's Viktoria?" William asked concerned. "She's with her father right now! Atleast it was a good day not to be in her dorm, haha!" Kate joked, trying to hide the tears of fear welling up in her eyes again.

Soon the last teacher arrived downstairs, it was Miss Dorn. Erika went over to her. "The building is about to collapse in 1 minute, I've seen it. Is everyone here or save outside?" Erika asked her teacher and she nodded. "Yes, I checked all the room and no one's inside anymore!" Miss Dorn assured her student and Erika sighed with relief and went back to William. "Start your plan! Everyone is here!" Erika stated. William took a deep breath, I'll try creating one of my forcefields around the others and us, that way nothing can happen to us. I just don't know how long I can hold it and if I even manage to project it around everyone here, I have never made a big field like this, I-I... I'm scared of failing." He panicked to which Erika held onto him tightly. "We'll get through this together, don't be scared. We have 20 more seconds!" She assured him holding his hand. He nodded appreciating her comfort.
