After they had finally arrived at the restaurant, they had to show one of the waiters the coupon they had. The waiter imidiantly got them a table for four, leaving enough space so both couples could be most focused on each other.
Helena and Constance were so excited, after all this was their first fancy date as a couple. Helena stroked Constance's hair lovingly. "You're very beautiful, you know?... I'm so glad my amnesiac self appeared near you. Your entire being is all the memories I need.." The words leaving her lips like honey with a strong passion. Constance was head over heels for her girlfriend and smiled giddily. "Your words feel like a blessing. If I ever die... I hope it's near you..." She mumbled dreamily.
Kate and Viktoria's date started just as wonderful. Kate just admired her beautiful girlfriend as she looked through the menu gracefully. "Hey, Viktoria... You look very beautiful with your hair up like this." Kate admitted holding her face with her hands. Viktoria lips curled into a loving smile. "Stop, you're gonna make me all flustered." She chuckled.
After a while they decided on what to eat. Kate and Viktoria are gonna share some bruschetta and after that both eat a noodle dish, while Constance and Helena weren't sharing anything and both just ordered the same food: some fish with rice. As drinks they all just got water. They were all still teenagers after all and couldn't drink, besides, they love water.
As soon as their antipasti and drinks arrived the atmosphere got even more romantic and they all talked patiently with their significant other while waiting for the food. Out of something like boredom, Constance and Helena decided to play a game of guessing stuff about the other. "Okay, Hel, my favorite color?" Constance questioned. Helena plays with her own hair while studying her sweetheart. "I'd say pink! Pastel pink to be exact... You always wear something with that!" Helena stated her observation and Constance's face turned into positive shock. "Yeah, that's completely right. You're very mindful." She complimented her.
"My turn! What's my uhm... my favorite animal?" Helena asked nervously. "Hmm, I'd say you like ladybugs since you always get excited over them when taking care of your plants." Constance replied confident in the correctness of her answer. Helena was hesitant. "I... I don't know actually... I only remember the past few months... The girl I woke up at without memory... Rachel was her name I think... She probably knows way more about me than I do. Isn't surprising... She's a stalker and a disgusting human being desperate for affection. She acts so creepy around me, it makes me uncomfortable. Why does she have to be the one person knowing who I am?.." Helena muttered looking down when suddenly Constance imidiantly lifts her chin back up. "You don't have to be with her to regain memories, you have me... We can form new one's together. Better ones! And if that stupid stalker ever bothers you again, she will be met with my deepest anger and disdain. No one makes my wonderful dear uncomfortable." Constance reassured her and softly stroked her cheek. "Yeah, I guess you're right... People don't forget important things... Maybe my life had been boring before that day.." Helena figured and drank the last bit of liquid out of her glas of water.
Rachel sat outside the restaurant. It was raining and cold out but she couldn't bear the thought of leaving Kate alone in a restaurant like that. She stared at her from a window at the side of the restaurant. It hurt her heart seeing Kate, the person supposed to love her, atleast in her opinion, with someone else on a date, being this happy... But what shocked her more was the fact that not only her stalking victim but also her best friends remains were seated in the same restaurant at the same table.
Rachel broke down. Her hair was wet from the rain, her braids being close to unbraiding. Rachel looked at her legs, scarred and sore.. She did everything. She hurt herself when Kate said she did something bad as a punishment... She hurt herself when Kate said words that she wanted to forget with help of the pain... It was something she wanted to stop but couldn't. It was the only thing helping her, after all there was no one looking out for her, a stupid girl, a stalker, a mentally ill freak. Rachel shivered in the cold.
"You should get back to your dorm before you catch a cold." A voice coming from her left suggested. She turned around to see Michael, holding an umbrella over her head now. "I... I can't. I have to watch Kate to see what I can do.. what I can improve for her to love me. I can't bear seeing her with this stupid Viktoria again..." Rachel cried out, her voice breaking. Michael sighed, like he expected a reply like that. "Care for yourself for a minute. Some people would rather have you healthy... Me, Ethan, Desmond..." Michael explained slowly guiding her up from the ground.
Rachel held onto his arm loudly crying, trying to let out every bad feeling inside of her little mind. Michael held onto her, still being careful not to be hit by her acid tears. "I work at that restaurant as a part time waiter." Michael admitted trying to lighten the mood. "That's our secret, alright?" He mumbled to which Rachel slowly nodded as she calmed down. "Michael... When Desmond wins... Can we ask him to keep Kate alive? I want her all to myself... I don't care if her love is true anymore... She will never like someone like me... Someone disgusting... out of her own will." Rachel wondered and Michael thought how to answer to that for a moment. "Probably... Desmond wants us to be happy as well. He would help you with your goals too as far as I know him." He replied, rubbing her back and trying his best to calm her completely while guiding her back to the school.
When they finally finished their main dish, drank all of the water and payed, the two couples got up to leave. "How about we stay together tonight? I still have room in my dorm." Constance offered. Helena was fast to agree. "Yes... Anything to be with you instead of Rachel." Helena laughed relieved. After a long walk they were back in Fortress Aegis and Constance took in the scenery of the town at night. "Fortress Aegis is so pretty... I'm so glad I moved here." Constance said running through the streets laughing pulling the slow Helena along, who was joyful like her.
Kate and Viktoria walked hand in hand in silence enjoying each other's company. Kate eventually dropped off Viktoria at her father's house. "Goodnight love." Kate said kissing her hand. Viktoria kissed back Kate's hand. "Goodnight, my sweet." She mumbled before entering her dad's house looking around. It was messy like always... He didn't take enough care of himself...
"Hey dad?" She carefully called out. "I know I haven't been looking after you the entire week but I'm here now... I'm home..."
