Nashi brought them back to earth. "There you go, I wish you luck. You're my favorite group of humans!" Nashi stated smiling softly. Erika hugged him. "Thanks for everything, Nashi! I hope everything goes well..." She said and Nashi pat her head. "I'm sure it will." He assured her stroking her hair before letting go of the hug an disappearing into the light beam.

They looked around. They were still near the ruins of their dorm building again. "We should go to Fortress Aegis like [Redacted] told us to.." Lila suggested and Erika nodded. "Yeah let's go there first."

They mad their way through the streets. Their school was only a few streets away from the town. Then suddenly they saw it, the entire town had collapsed just like their school. Someone was going around destroying everything they saw. "Oh god... How is this ever gonna get repaired?.." Mai asked concerned as she looked at the ruins of people's homes. "So many people lost their homes... Their memories... I hope they're all save." Kate prayed holding onto Victoria's hand tightly.

Viktoria suddenly let out a gasp and almost began crying. She saw her own home, that of her father, being broken down and in ruins. "Our home..." She stuttered as she fell to her knees. "I-Is Richard save?.. Please tell me he is... I can't bear losing him..." Viktoria panicked, her breathing fast and all her features portraying fear and worry. She slowly got up and sprinted over to the ruins. She saw her plushie under some stones coming from the wall and picked it up. "Guess my little friend here has to come to... Can't leave him here..." She tried joking but actually felt so bad, she just wanted to cry. Kate hugged her and held her tightly. "Hun, I'm sure your father's fine. He's a stubborn yet smart man, he will not let himself get endangered like that. Not after what he reached." She's tried reassuring her poor girlfriend holding onto her shoulders and looking into her eyes. Viktoria slowly nodded. "Y-you must be right... He is smart... He has survived, I'm sure..." She sobbed while trying to wipe away her tears.

They continued walking to find the entire town was destroyed. There was nothing left... Nothing except their orphanage. It was nice the place was still standing but seeing the rest of the town they spent their childhood in being broken and irreparable was something they couldn't quite process yet. "So this is real, isn't it?... Life is scary.." Itsuki muttered leaning against Lila, who enjoyed his presence against her. "Everything will be okay... Hopefully..." Lila said looking down sadly. "It's so different from what we used to see here everyday.. I will miss the music shop, they always had such cool jazz CDs..." William stated. "I wonder how Gabriel's doing... His house is at the edge of Fortress Aegis, like our school and the orphanage... There's a big chance he is still fine and at home.." William wondered. "I haven't seen him in so long... He just stopped showing up to school the day I... I shouldn't have listened to Tar at all. I should've befriended him on my own, I'm such an idiot. The cutest boy ever is right in front of me and I was too blind to see through his quiet attire." William groaned frustrated. Erika chuckled a bit. "You've chosen an interesting time to announce your crush, haha." She laughed sweetly and William joined her laughter.

Viktoria still wasn't feeling like laughing at all. "Can you shut up? This is not the time to make jokes... We might die... And you're joking around..." She growled and their smiles dropped immediately. She was right, but they didn't want to be scared of dying every second throughout the fight now. They had to keep their smile instead of losing it. Still she felt like it had been insensitive to just start making jokes when the most of the group were terrified out of their minds. "I'm sorry..." William muttered and turned away. He hasn't intended making jokes at all, he was genuinely worried about Gabriel's safety. He wish he could've told him how much he loved him before all of this happened.
