saylor
the band is now at our third show of the tour, and we just wrapped it up. so far, tour has been great. we haven't had any hiccups. the band has been ecstatic to be back on tour and back on the road, and it definitely shows. the fans have also been excited, judging from the energy in the crowds and all of the social media posts so far.
right now, the four of us are in jessie's green room. i'm sitting in alex's lap, jessie is fixing her hair in the mirror, and miguel is on the couch with me and alex.
"yo, abigail!" alex called out as abigail walked by the open door.
abigail backtracked and looked at alex expectantly. "uh, yeah?"
"could you send me any pictures you took of me, and any of me and saylor, from tonight?" alex asked as they tilted their head.
"oh, um, yeah, sure," abigail gave a nod.
abigail is our new photographer. she's sweet as can be, but it's also clear she's not a people person. she's very shy.
"send me any of mine, too, please," jess raised their hand.
"right," abigail nodded again before she hurried off.
"so," jessie walked around the couch to look at the three of us. "there's a party tonight. are y'all trying to go?"
"how do you know of a party happening here?" mig gave her a dumbfounded look.
"i have connections," they smirked.
"connections with who? how do you have connections?" alex raised a brow.
jessie paused for a moment, sighed, and slumped her shoulders. "billie has connections," they mumbled, which made us all laugh. "she texted me about it earlier; it's some rapper hosting the party, and apparently he's a big fan of our band. he'd love it if we just stopped by, even for a little bit."
i turned to look at alex. "i'll go."
i sent them a look, silently asking if they were sure. they gave a small nod. "i'm going too then," i said.
since i found out about devon, and alex has been opening up to me more and more, they told me about their issues with parties. they told me about that time i went to a party earlier this year, and how they nearly had an anxiety attack because of it. i apologized and told them that i would've never even considered going if i knew, but they assured me that it was fine.
miggy looked at all of us, then let out a sigh. "i guess i'll go too."
jj grinned. "bet! i don't know about y'all, but i need to go back to the hotel and change before we go, so how about we all go back, and then we can get an uber to the party?"
we all nodded. we went and told laura the plan. she told us to be safe, take a bodyguard with us, and to let her know once we were back from the party and at the hotel.
me and alex are now in our hotel room. i watched as alex adjusted their outfit in the mirror.
"are you sure you wanna go, baby?" i asked softly.
"positive," alex nodded. "i'll be okay, really. i trust and know that you aren't devon and that you won't do the things she did."
"never," i promised. i hesitated. "and you'll be fine being around a bunch of alcohol and everything...?"
"darling, i'm going to be honest... i have never liked being drunk. i hated it from the first time i got drunk to the last time i got drunk. honestly, i could go the rest of my life without drinking ever again. getting drunk was a way to deal with what devon put me through, and i don't need that anymore. i have healthier ways of dealing with that."
