My jaw almost dropped to the floor. My eyes widened and I almost lost my balance once again. What did I just hear? Did I hear him right?
Oh, Lord...
I was really caught off guard that even speaking seemed to be the hardest thing to do right now. I was just here, standing right in front of Jarren and his raging Asian eyes. I was just here, wasting our time instead of answering.
I am never prepared for this.
Totally stunned to even speak just a single freaking word.
But after a few moments, it was he who broke the silence between us, “I get it, Sofia. Silence means yes. So, it must be real, the thing that’s going on between you and Luhan.”
He smiled at me with pain in his eyes, “congrats. That’s all I can say.”

But instead of answering, instead of clarifying everything, I covered my mouth as tears started brimming down my cheeks. And then he walked towards me only to realize that he was not walking towards me at all. He is walking towards the elevator. He is about to leave me.
