October 2nd

Y/n walked out of the bathroom, tissues in her hands as she threw them into the trash near the kitchen island. Her eyes fell on the large group sitting across the kitchen. The living room was filled with mattresses and a mountain of snacks piled in the middle. The doorbell rang, and Sakura walked towards it before returning with pizza boxes. Her eyes landed on the figure standing in the kitchen.

"Oh, you're out? Come join us," Sakura smiled.

Y/n stayed silent. "Tell Wonyoung that I left for work," she quickly blurted before speeding towards the shoe rack and grabbing her shoes.

"Huh? Wait, Y/n." Sakura placed the boxes on the counter and hurried toward her, gently grabbing her shoulder to stop her from leaving. "Come on, stay for just a little? We ordered a lot," Sakura pleaded, her tone making Y/n's heart ache.

Y/n stood silently, sighing and placing her shoes back onto the shelf. "For a few minutes," Y/n said, raising an eyebrow as Sakura smiled, her smile warming Y/n as they headed into the living room.

"TEAPOT!" Jisung yelled as they played charades with the girls.

"Yes!" Miyeon pointed and announced the answer.

"My turn!" Jisung smiled and went up to imitate.

Hyunjin placed a pillow on his lap before leaning forward on it as he scrolled through his phone. Nothing was interesting, and he just wanted to leave, but his friends had insisted he stay. Not even "insisted"-they forced him.

"The pizza's here!" Sakura walked in, Y/n trailing behind her as she sat down next to Chaewon. The group sat in a circle as they played charades.

"What took you so long?" Chaewon furrowed her eyebrows before smiling at Y/n.

"I searched for soap. Turns out that fancy figure was the soap," Y/n responded with a stoic face, and Chaewon nodded in understanding.

Hyunjin, on the other hand, didn't care about the girls there; he only had one person in his mind. However, he thought miracles like meeting her out of nowhere only happened in fairytales. His eyes remained glued to his phone as Y/n silently enjoyed not being noticed by him-because then he'd start his stupid comments.

Sakura opened the boxes slowly and gently placed them on each side so it'd be easier for everyone to grab slices.

"Can we play Monopoly?" Chaewon asked. Most nodded except for Hyunjin and Y/n, who were zoned out.

"Hm?" Y/n noticed the silence.

"Monopoly?" Hyunjin looked up, his eyes meeting Y/n's. His pupils dilated for a second before he quickly backed away from the pillow.

"What are you doing here?" Hyunjin furrowed his eyebrows, his tone expressing shock.

"Me? I should be asking you that," Y/n clicked her tongue.

"I live next door, the heck?" Hyunjin tilted his head.

"Then go to your own house. Why bother everyone with your noisy ass?" Y/n snapped.

"Me?? You're the one who ruins the mood with your dry vibe," Hyunjin defended himself.

"And you're too noisy," Y/n repeated.

"You're too dry," Hyunjin countered.

"At least I don't annoy anyone," Y/n responded.

"You're scary, and that ruins the vibe," Hyunjin shot back.
