"What?" Y/n huffed as the rain got heavier. The drops splashing onto the two's feet as they dazed into eachother's eyes. Her eyes dilated and her heart picked up the pace.

"I said, I would" Hyunjin repeated himself, Y/n's eyes lingering around Hyunjin's face. Right eye to left eye then to his plump lips.

"You would what?" Y/n asked as hesitation covered her body.

"I would love...you" Hyunjin hesitated, his heart beating out of his chest as he avoided eye contact. Y/n froze, her cheeks turning bright red as her arms slowly reached out to grip a material of her sweater. The two of them stayed quiet with the rain being the only thing that they could hear along with their loud heartbeats.

Hyunjin decided to break the silence as he let out a scoff. "That was too...straightforward right?" Hyunjin laughed it off. He knew he was about to ruin the relationship the two of them had.

"Yes, go away" Y/n looked away, unable to keep herself calm. The sight of him would make her go even crazier.

"Awh, but I thought you'd say it back" Hyunjin joked, Y/n's eyes dilated as she stood up abruptly.

"Fuck you" Y/n avoided eye contact, her eyes lingering to the rain.

"Is that your love language?" Hyunjin chuckled as he also stood up, taking small steps towards Y/n, standing next her.

"I don't have-" Y/n had never showed love to anyone nor did she receive any love. Her father would sometimes care but sometimes he wouldn't. He was careless and never took care of Y/n when she was young but as they grew old, he had a character development, although it was too late.

"Now you do" Hyunjin cut her off, taking steps forward before he faced Y/n, standing right infront of her.

"I'm not a girl you can date, I'm not wealthy nor am I royalty. There's no gain in dating me" Y/n's eyes glued onto the wooden porch as she refused the eye contact, just as she was about to walk away, Hyunjin's finger was placed under her chin, making her look up at him. The blurry light fell into Y/n's eyes as they sparkled, dazing into Hyunjin's eyes.

"Did I ever say I needed anything from you?" Hyunjin asked, his tone firm. Y/n froze, it seemed like a cat had her tongue.

"Did I?" Hyunjin repeated himself more clearly.

"You don't understand, with a shitty backstory like this I can't even understand the letter L of the word Love" Y/n pulled away, her emotions taking over as she clenched her fists.

"Listen up. I don't care about the past nor do I care about your background, let the man do the job Y/n, who cares if you don't know what love is? I haven't dated either expect to be fangirled over. I have never confessed to anyone nor have I expressed my emotions like this to anyone. You're the first. My first crush and the first girl to make my heart beat out of my chest loud enough for it to be heard even through this heavy rain." Hyunjin held onto Y/n's shoulder, eager to calm her down. The tender feeling calmed her down, the soothing voice of Hyunjin dimmed her nerves down as her gaze softened at his presence.

"I don't care about anything and anyone other than you. Come on?" Hyunjin gently let go of her.
"I can't believe I'm saying this but you're a total asshole who somehow won my heart when I had literally promised myself I wouldn't be dating anyone for an eternity. I wanted to beat you to death when we first met and I want to do the same thing right now although a bit rougher than usual. I hate the way you make my heart feel. I thought you'd get out of my life but we ended up here" Y/n laughed at herself. The thought of saying this out loud had somehow calmed her down as she was had held the words down for a long time.

"Will you hate me if I do this one thing?" Hyunjin looked at Y/n, it seemed as if he had heart eyes in his pupils. He sighed as he looked down at the lips of Y/n. She tilted her head in confusion before his arms wrapped around her body tightly, pulling her into a tight and a warm hug in this cold weather. The hug was warm enough for Y/n to be relieved after a tough day, all of her problems washed up in this single hug as the taller boy's grip tightened on her.

"Can I?" Hyunjin asked, his tone muffled as he gently caressed Y/n's back. "Hm?" Y/n hummed, asking for Hyunjin to continue his sentence. "Can I be your man?" Hyunjin repeated his words fully, Y/n pulled away from the hug as she stared into Hyunjin's sincere eyes. Her eyes glistening in happiness as a smile tugged at the corner of her lips.

"Why not?" Y/n smiled before Hyunjin's lips came crashing against Y/n's, catching her way off guard although she didn't dare complain. The heavy rain poured and poured as their kiss got deeper, Y/n's arms wrapping around Hyunjin's and his hands trailing down her waist as he pulled her body closer against his tighter. The kiss was gentle and slow as they took their precious time kissing, their tongues swirling against eachother as Hyunjin bit down slightly, causing Y/n to wince lowly as Hyunjin didn't stop before they pulled away for air, looking at their self as Y/n launched herself off of Hyunjin. "You asshole" Y/n shocked over the fact she just had her first kiss. "Oh my gosh I can't believe you just did that" Y/n messed her hair up as Hyunjin found it cute, tilting his head as he watched Y/n frustrate over the kiss.

"Why? Was I not good enough?" Hyunjin smirked, Y/n stopped pacing and turned her head towards Hyunjin. "That's not the issue. That was my first kiss and..and we're literally infront of my fucking house" Y/n pointed at her house.

"SHITTT" The girls screeched as they recorded everything. Incase you forgot let me remind you again. Da-hye and her friends were having a slumber party, they were all asleep until Seowon accidentally tripped over kaylee's feet, falling right on top of everyone who was sleeping on the ground with a soft mattress. They ended up hearing the arguing outside, and like the curious cats they were, they decided to check it out just for them to be thanking Seowon for waking them up.

"Wow." Da-hye was speechless.

"I can't believe we just watched that" Hyein added.

"That was so romantic!!!" Seowon jumped in happiness along with Kaylee, celebrating a relationship that wasn't even their own.

"Shhhh!!! You're going to wake Mr.Nam up!" Hyein shushed them as they stopped jumping immediately and gathered around just to watch the video where the confession had started.

They replayed the video, a grin appearing on their face as they started giggling at the video like stalkers. "You guys are being weird" Da-hye was against everything, the kiss the dating thing and the fact her sister's boyfriend was a 'dented lamp'.

"Wait" Hyunjin called out right before Y/n was about to head back inside. "Hm?" Y/n looked back to see Hyunjin carrying the small bag and taking a jewelry box out of it. "I didn't know when to give this to you. It just reminded me about you a lot, so I thought I'd buy it for you" He handed Y/n the jewelry box. "You really didn't have to but I'll make sure to wear it" Y/n hadn't opened the box yet, she just grabbed it and admired how careful the box was designed.

"Hope I see you wearing it" Hyunjin smiled before Y/n started blushing after the smile, looking away quickly as Hyunjin got into his car, starting the engine and rolling the window down. "See you in a few hours" He yelled as Y/n didn't dare look back because of how nervous she was and how fast her heart was beating. So was Hyunjin's, he knew what she felt like so she didn't question it as he drove off slowly. 'Few hours? Oh right, it's like four AM' She thought.

Y/n sighed as she walked back into the house, locking the door before going up to her room. Her eyes lingered onto the box in her hand as she caressed the box, she loved the material of it. She sat down on her bed, opening the box as it revealed a shiny diamond bracelet. Y/n's eyes widened at an instant as she almost launched herself off the bed. "Fucking- is this real?" Y/n placed her palm over her mouth as the scanned the bracelet and she doubted it was fake because of how it shined so brightly. "This is too special to be worn so casually.. " Y/n admired the bracelet before she gently wore it on her left hand. "This boy..loves spending money." Y/n sighed as she admired the diamond thar shined brightly in the dark night where the noise of the rain filled the streets.
