January 25th, 17:03 PM

The cold weather of January was acting up as Y/n walked home, Hyunjin was invited to help his seniors in a murder case so he was too busy to check up on Y/n, his career depending on the way he would finish this case. Y/n wore black classic pants with a grey cardigan on her top thinking that the weather would be better than yesterday. Chaewon had to help her cousin out with his interior designing considering the fact that she was getting paid for it made her further more excited.

Y/n hair let down as they got brushed back with the wind blowing onto her face as it was getting darker, the dark night of winter had returned however she was still happy despite the fact that she was alone. She has people caring for her and that was more than enough for her to feel happy about it.

She took her steps home, unlocking the front door and walking in. She walked into the kitchen, her eyes landing on the extra figure than sat within the table. A woman that looked like she was in her 40's sat across the table with Y/n's father turning around to look at who had arrived.

"Oh Y/n, sit down" her father called her over, acting all smiley for no reason.

"Who's this?" She asked as she walked over and sat down across the lady her eyes falling into the gold jewelery she wore. The layered necklace and the amount of rings she had on each finger amazed her. The woman's eyes lit up as she stared down the elder girl, her mouth dropping slightly, letting out a small 'aw'

"You've grown so much" she smiled down at the girl, Y/n being confused and slightly uncomfortable as the lady reached to grab Y/n's hands, caressing them gently.

"I'm sorry, you are..?" Y/n pulled her hands back, keeping them to herself as she didn't feel like doing this right now.

"Right" the lady straightened her posture and couldn't stop smiling.

"She's your mother, Y/n" her father finally spat out. Y/n's heart dropped at the sentence, the atmosphere dimming down at an instant within her reaction.

Her eyes started to blink rapidly, eyes flashing at her 'mother' and her father whom was all smiley because of his wife finally coming back.

"A-are you joking?" Y/n asked, her words came out hesitant as her hands slightly trembled.

"Is it something bad? Your literal mom is here" Her father, somehow had turned into the old version of himself.

"Are you joking dad?" Y/n asked again, her tone dropping to a serious one. "Are you not happy to see me, sweetie?' The lady asked.

"Right.." Y/n muttered her eyes couldn't stop glancing back at his father and the woman who claimed to be her mother.

If she lashed out right now, she'd lose herself and go berserk which is why she didn't. The front door opened once more and a sweet voice followed along. "I'm home" Da-hye came into the kitchen, her brows furrowing in confusion. "Sweetie, meet your mother--"

"Dad." Y/n cut him off, not wanting to put Da-hye in stress. Da-hye's heart dropped at the sentence, her pupils dilating as she stared at the woman exactly like how Y/n was staring at her.

"What? She lived her entire life without her mother, why shouldn't she meet her?" And there was the blow, with Da-hye's heart dropping down to her stomach as she heard her father.

"What?" She stuttered as she looked at the woman who was all smiley and kind looking, her pair of smiles matched the smiling face Da-hye did whenever she smiled, her eyes squeezed like a flower and so did the woman's.

"Da-hye, go upstairs" Y/n ordered, Da-hye hesitated for a bit, not knowing what to do. "Now" Y/n added as Da-hye nodded and ran upstairs, the door accidentally slamming loudly since the windows were open.
