Hyunjin was amazed at how the Desserts filled the entire floor up. It looked a little empty when he was done decorating yesterday however once he saw the Desserts on the table he knew they completed the room.
Y/n was upstairs, undressing and throwing her outfit in the dryer as she searched for comfortable clothes. She grabbed a plain black t-shirt, she wore black shorts and wore a grey cardigan on top of the shirt as she threw a towel over her head and came down downstairs just to see Hyunjin eyeing the cookies. "Don't" She warned him, he looked devastated as he scoffed and went towards Y/n. "Dry your hair" Y/n threw a beige color towel at Hyunjin as he smirked gently and started to dry his hair little by little meanwhile Y/n worked on placing the candles on the first cake. There was a separate cake for the party and this one she was putting the candles on was the main cake.
Y/n went ahead and grabbed the lighter, she pulled to light it but it wouldn't work as she huffed in annoyance. "Wanna use mine?" Hyunjin threw Y/n his lighter as she almost let it fall. "You smoke?" Y/n caught the lighter but I guess Hyunjin had just sacrificed that one. "Yeah?" Hyunjin tilted his head. "Too bad" Y/n took the lighter before she lit the candles. Hyunjin waited for the lighter back but Y/n placed it away on the cabinet and locked it with a really small key.
"Hey that's an expensive one" Hyunjin argued however Y/n didn't budge. "You're not smoking" Y/n replied, her face stoic.
"You can't tell me what to do" Hyunjin scoffed as he smirked sarcastically."Do you smoke everyday?" Y/n ignored his arrogance as she asked him questions. "Every morning, yeah" Hyunjin thought he was so cool by saying that. "Not cool" Y/n sighed as she placed the key in her pockets.
The upstairs door creaked the footsteps were as if a giant had woken up, meaning it wasn't Da-hye but Y/n's father. Y/n panicked as he quickly led Hyunjin behind the kitchen island and made him kneel down under it so he stays hidden. He slowly came downstairs as he rubbed his eyes. Hyunjin just wanted to get along with her father but seems like he might be strict by how Y/n was acting. He hitched a breath as he tried his best to stay silent whilst being hidden.
"Woa-" his eyes dilated in a second after he saw the preparations. "Good morning dad" Y/n smiled as she poured a glass of water and brought it to her father. "Good morning but.. how long did it take for you to finish overnight?" His father was impressed by how quick her daughter was. "Like I said, I take it from you, dad" Y/n giggled earning a chuckle from her father as her father handed the cup back to Y/n whilst she went ahead and placed it in the sink.
"So uhm some of my old friends were calling me for golf today, and since the house will be filled with kids only, I just wanted to congratulate Da-hye before leaving" her father stated as Y/n's eyes lit up. She was scared that her dad wouldn't leave the house so the sudden announce made her really happy.
"Ack-!" A sudden thud could be heard from the kitchen island as Y/n's eyes dilated with the worry in Her father's eyes sparking up.
"Did you hear that??" Her father stood up. "Hear what?" Y/n played dumb before her father shoon his head. "Nevermind, I must have started hearing things again" He knew his ears had a problem so he didn't think too much of it.
The upstairs door creaked again before Y/n rushed to the cake and held it up with her father also standing up. "Sis?" Da-hye called out as she took slow steps towards the stairs. "Daad??" She called out once again. She took steps downstairs. Y/n quickly handed the cake to her father before running to get the party poppers. As soon as Da-hye'a figure was seen Y/n popped the party poppers as it caused Da-hye to flinch but then smile immediately after she saw how the first floor looked like.
