chapter 41; "the party and the disaster"

"Don't you know how bad that could've been? What if she drowned!?" Miyeon yelled, her eyes filled with fury as her mouth spat nothing but hurtful words.

"But she didn't! It wasn't that deep anyway!" Sakura yelled back, the pool filled with yelling. On the other side of the pool sat Y/n, her head dizzy as Hyunjin rushed around the mansion with Chaewon trying to keep her down. "I said I'm fine, goddammit" Y/n scoffed, Chaewon just pushed the girl trying to stand up further.

"Shut up, I doubt you'll have the mind to walk" Chaewon squeezed herself next to Y/n, her dry clothes getting soaked as her body got in touch with the wet shirt rubbing off on her. "You're gonna get wet" Y/n stood up just to be pulled back by Chaewon. "Don't care" she hugged Y/n tightly, noticing the weird feeling as her hands brushed past her skin. Her eyes landing on Y/n's arm. "Come to think of it, I've never seen your bare arm--" just as she was about to continue, her eyes landed on the smaller red fade trailing out of Y/n's arms, the other half covered by the black sleeves, Y/n acted quickly, her habit of pulling her sleeves further down perked up.

'are my eyes sore? She wouldn't do such thing, Hm?' Chaewon questioned herself as she stayed with Y/n, so close that it looked like they were cuddling.

Finally after all of the chaos, the group's laughter took place in the pool, throwing eachother in, doing some cool tricks whilst throwing their entire bodies onto the water and letting themselves crash against it.

"No" Hyunjin stopped Y/n from going in the water with her entire body. "Oh shut up" she rolled her eyes. The two couples sat at the corner of the deeper side of the pool, swimming as Hyunjin gently supported Y/n by her waist. "You can't and you're not, what if something happens to you again?" Hyunjin lifted Y/n up, placing her on the side of the pool whilst he stayed in the pool.

"You're too much of a worry wart, I'm fine" she tried to excuse herself by trying to throw her body in but being immediately caught mid air by Hyunjin. "nuh-uh" he clicked his tongue before smirking slightly, enjoying the teasing as he swam away, eyes on Y/n as he swam on his back, letting himself drift away.

"Asshole" Y/n muttered, looking away from the pool to the other side where Chaewon Canon balled herself into the pool with a large splash to annoy the girls further. "Chae!!" They yelled in frustration, splashing her with water as soon. As she surfaced back.

Chaewon laughed, going back in the water as a figure formed right knfront if Y/n, letting her flinch at an instant as her Jaw fell. "Sea monster, crazy ain't I?" Chaewon came out of the water laughing. "Aren't you too old for this?" Y/n chuckled with a scoffing tone. "Absolutely not, I can still play mermaids and --" Chaewon started naming everything she had done so far, listing them one by one, Y/n rolled her eyes jokingly, her eyes landed on Hyunjin sitting on the side of the pool, chatting away with Jisung and Minho. Y/n smirked, grinning playfully before getting up and pretending to walk past him to grab a snack. Chaewon furrowed her eyebrows in confusion as she saw Y/n grab a snack and sneakily walk back, suspiciously getting close to Hyunjin without him noticing. All of the sudden, a sudden push faltered through the pool with Hyunjin being the one harshly pushed and Y/n laughing since she had pushed him in. Jisung and Minho started laughing at the state as Hyunjin emerged from the waterz hair brushed back as he coughed, eyes wandering on the culprit standing right infront of him, laughing. The sight of Y/n laughing and all smiley made him fall inlove with her for the second time, he would've gotten revenge if it weren't for how foolishly he was in love. However the sight made him want to tease her. "You" he scoffed our before swimming towards her and Y/n backing away so he couldn't reach her. "You think I won't be able to reach you if you walk off?" He laughed, jumping out the water, causing Y/n's eyes to widen as she ran across the pool to get away from Hyunjin, however he was too eager -- he reached up quickly and swiped her off her feet before throwing her, letting her off his arms however Y/n was held on tightly to Hyunjin, causing his neck to go along with the figure of Y/n as the two slammed into the water in sync, creating a large splash as the surroundings laughed at the sight.
