chapter 33; " Never have I ever "

The girls waited outside the market, chatting away as Wonyoung and Miyeon had entered the market to buy snacks and drinks for the sleepover. The wind bit the faces of the girls as their noses reddened.

"Oh my gosh I'm going to freeze, and it's only autumn" Chaewon silently screeched. "We should've just went with the driver" Sakura added. Y/n just scanned the area around, lamps placed with each four step and the bushes cut neatly, making the street stand out a lot. The malls and shops stood out as the sun was setting, the weather reaching It's gloomy moments.

Y/n faced the market again as the headlights of the car shined behind her, Sakura's eyes squinting as she gazed at the car that had just parked, the lights turning off as a tall figure walked out.

"Isn't that Hyunjin?" Chaewon placed her palm over her eyes to see clearly. Y/n's quickly turned her head over because of the mention. And Chaewon wasn't wrong, everyone's head was turned towards his direction. "Ya'll think he came for Wony?" Sakura whispered, Y/n furrowed her eyebrows. "Huh? Do they have something special?" Y/n asked as she crossed her arms. Something fluttered inside of Y/n's stomach, perhaps Jealousy?

"Nah, Sakura is mistaken. Hyunjin never showed an ounce of affection towards Wony, need glasses Sakura, love?" Chaewon laughed at Sakura as she rolled her eyes at the comment, as for Y/n, she felt relived because she didn't want to date one of her friend's crush.

"Hey" Hyunjin walked up to the girls, acting as if he was greeting the group but his eyes were on Y/n only, catching her off guard. Y/n didn't reply cause the girls had never seen the two of them bonding. "Hi Hyunjin, came for Wony?" Sakura asked, still not rethinking about the statement.

"What? No" Hyunjin furrowed his eyebrows, staring at Y/n with terrified eyes as she started to get annoyed. "I'm not interested in anyone at the moment, why would I be messing around?" Hyunjin announced all of the sudden, Wonyoung and Miyeon had just came out of the market when he said that.

Wonyoung had always liked Hyunjin, his funny personality along with how caring he was towards others had made her fall for him however she was never brave enough to confess because they barely talked, the only time she would get to meet him was when her father's friend would bring Hyunjin over. They would hang out at her room as their fathers had a conversation about buisness. Wonyoung had always tried to start a small talk but Hyunjin would just answer simply, like 'no' or 'yes' and then he would dive right back into his phone. Chatting the night away with his friends and not batting an eye to Wonyoung. It would upset her but she never said anything cause it was just a crush it's not like they were dating nor was Wonyoung close with him. Wonyoung was closer with Minho because they were childhood friends however she didn't have any romantic feelings for him. Wonyoung would invite Minho and his friends over because Wonyoung had a full on PC room in her apartment which amazed the boys so they would come over frequently whenever she called them over, as for Wonyoung. She would only call them over to see Hyunjin but he would most likely back out of the plans.

"Hyunjin?" Wonyoung smiled. "Oh, hi" Hyunjin raised his eyebrows at Wonyoung. For some reason, Y/n didn't like the interaction, even if it was just a small greet. 'Oh. I'm toxic' She sighed to herself, admitting it to herself as she tried to be more calm about it. "Wanna come over? You should incite your friends too!" Wonyoung tilted her head as she smiled brightly at Hyunjin as Y/n turned her head to the side because she just wanted to ignore the interaction they were having.

"Sure" Hyunjin didn't turn of offer down because he would be able to be with Y/n more, which made him excited.

'Shit I should've brought covering pyjamas' Y/n has brought a grey tank top with black shorts and she had only grabbed them along because she thought it was girls only, turns out men were coming too. And it was a last minute plan.
