chapter 52: "feels like spring"

It had been a few months ever since the group split into two. Mostly girls, Miyeon, Sakura and Wonyoung were off the records, nobody talked about them anymore. They continued their circle despite the small arguments and a lot of Hyunjin's friends backing Y/n up after hearing about what Wonyoung had planned on her. They were getting along way better than expected.

two weeks of spring break was given to the students, whereas they were only on their second day. Y/n and Chaewon were in the mall, trying to escape Hyunjin and his friends that tried to tag along.

"We shouldn't have come to his father's mall, which dumbass does that?" Y/n sighed as they walked around, drinks in their hands. "Father-in-law you mean? Girl, you're gonna get married to Hyunjin anyway, why bother--"

"Shut up" Y/n cut the girl off, Chaewon just put on a proud smile before sipping her drink through the straw.

"Am I hallucinating or is that--"

"Shit"

"Get away"

The two girls scrambled as they turned back quickly, walking off like they hadn't seen the men approaching them. The men with very familiar faces.

"I'm not dealing with Minho and Jisung, they're going to end up humiliating us" Y/n spoke as they rushed back, trying to find a place to hide their faces in.

"Why are they even here!? It's like they're spying on us on every single one of our girly hang out" Chaewon whined as they stormed into the café Y/n works at, although she was on a break for the spring.

"I didn't see Hyunjin though, maybe those two just came to hang out together" Y/n shrugged, sitting down on the grey chair as she plopped down on it.

"You didn't what--!?" Chaewon scoffed as someone else entered the coffee shop the moment she said that,  a familiar face, a familiar height and a familiar tone.

"Hey you two!" A friendly tune called out, the two girls turned to their back just to see Hyunjin and Jisung walking in together with a smile on their faces. Jisung was the loud one just like always, another figure stepped in, presumably Minho.

"Fuck, they came in anyway" Chaewon groaned in annoyance as she threw her head back, rolling it smoothly before brining it back to surface with her eyebrows furrowed.

"They can't be more annoying than the asshole building a mansion right infront of the place I live in" Y/n scoffed as the three took their seat infront of the two girls.

"What if the owner falls inlove with you?"

Y/n gasped at Chaewon's question. "I'm gonna lock myself up" she answered.

Hyunjin just listened closely, eyeing Y/n's facial features. Not even caring about the ridiculous comments Chaewon kept making.

"No but, imagine" Chaewon kept up, Y/n just shook her head violently, her chair creaking as she scooted next to Hyunjin. "I feel so betrayed right now" Chaewon placed a palm on her chest, not believing the fact that Y/n was showing love towards Hyunjin right IN FRONT of her.

"No, but are you planning to run away from us the entire break?" Minho asked, looking for his phone before realizing Jisung was literally filming him from the side. "Stop that--" he tried to snatch his phone away before Jisung stood up, making the phone impossible to reach. Chuckling as he enjoyed the teasing.

Minho scoffed, rolling his eyes in annoyance as he just let Jisung be. Acting as if he was a fan although he was just doing this to fill up the storage in his phone.
