"I'll go in with you" Hyunjin followed Y/n inside, her hands clenched into a fist, squeezing the handle and she pressed it down and walked in just to see the table set into an amazing looking breakfast filled with waffles and eggs with the orange juices pouted onto four glasses, making them look as luscious as ever. The smell of waffles lingered underneath the nostrils of Y/n as she got flustered by the sudden breakfast table.
"Sis!" Da-hye jumped as she noticed her sister standing at the door, rushing towards the two figures who stood next to eachother with a confused expression plastered on their face. "What the..." Her voice trailed off to the atmosphere, something she thought she would never experience.
"Apparently, 'mom' felt bad so she made us breakfast" Da-hye muttered to Y/n, her eyes shutting and nodding before walking in. "where were you sweetie?" The lady asked, Y/n still didn't dare to call her 'her mother'
The sweet tone of the lady sort of reminded Y/n the days she used to crave for love, mourning for it every single night as she cried herself to sleep.
"None of your concern" Y/n huffed out, walking upstairs as she rushed to her room, ignoring the glances she got as Hyunjin followed her from behind.
"Why's she acting like that? Isn't she happy to her mother" Her father scoffed, glancing at the wife.
"She still needs some time to adjust, it's not like I did anything wrong but she still must be surprised about it" she responded as Da-hye rolled her eyes at her 'mom'
"She'll be fine, she knows how to manage herself" Her father added as they sat down around the table.

Hyunjin walked behind Y/n, eyes on her slumped body as she flung the door shut but before it could close, Hyunjin caught it midway and walked in which Y/n didn't mind it, she didn't want to end up alone in her bedroom again, curled up into the blankets with her tears filling that one spot in sheet just like always.
Hyunjin stayed silent as Y/n paced around her room, chasing her recent steps as she messed her hair up in frustration. "Why's she even here when she left more than a decade ago?" She asked herself, Hyunjin knew there wasn't a point in trying to defend her mother because he was also pissed off about it despite it not being his problem.
"Hey, hey, hey, slow down, you're going to tire yourself out" Hyunjin finally walked upto Y/n, blocking her way as he dragged her to her bed, seating her down on the edge as they shared eye contact.
"I'm sorry for bringing you into this, should've just shooed you back home" Y/n apologized in a defeated tone. The sight really wasn't the best for Hyunjin because no matter how many insecurities and embarrassing moments Y/n had, Hyunjin never laughed at them but responded upon them with admiration.
"That's correct, but you're wrong about one part." Hyunjin responded, Y/n went silent as she stared at Hyunjin.
"We both shouldn't have walked in here. We should've kicked the welcome mat aside and shooed ourselves out right from the entrance without an exit" Hyunjin added as Y/n let out a sigh, staying in silence before letting herself fall onto Hyunjin, him catching her immediately as he wrapped his arms around her, patting gentle rubs on her back.
"Why didn't I think of that?" Y/n asked, her voice came out muffled as her face was pressed against Hyunjin's chest.
"Because I'm smarter than you" Hyunjin responded with a light chuckle as he tried to lift the mood up.
"Dumber, you mean" Y/n corrected her as she sat back up, straightening her posture.
"No" Hyunjin grinned and tilted his head sideways, loving to tease her girl.
"Shut u--"
"Want to ditch this place and go hang out somewhere else?" Hyunjin cut her off as Y/n's pupils dilated at the question, "thought you'd never ask"
"You didn't know I was going to ask" Hyunjin raised his eyebrows for a split second as Y/n rolled her eyes and got up, rummaging through her hangers as she looked for something to wear.

Y/n ended up wearing light blue flared jeans with a sweater upto her waist, her hair tied into a neat but as she wore a black coat over her outfit along with a grey scarf.
"You look pretty" Hyunjin commented as be drove the car, his eyes glancing back to the road after taking a peek of Y/n
"thank you" Y/n responded, slightly stuttered by the sudden comment as she tied her scarf up and looked at Hyunjin who's hand was on the stirring wheel just like always.
"What about my compliment?" Hyunjin asked with a grin, Y/n scoffed at the sentence as she stared back at his face. "You're wearing the same thing though" Y/n excused her way out. "So what? Can't you compliment my luscious hair?" Hyunjin asked, brushing his hair back as he acted all charming. Y/n gave another frustrated scoff as she rolled her eyes. "Your hair looks nice" she forced herself as she turned to look out the window with Hyunjin humming happily with little shoulder shrugs.
A few minutes later on, Hyunjin arrived at a large mansion, everything was white and it was designed carefully, not like those modern mansions but it looked like the mansions from the old movies, the 1780's where they had those beautifully designed mansions for the rich people of those times.
Hyunjin's car drove through the Large Golden gates as they opened with the security guard detecting the car and opening the gates, the mansion looked as if it was made in heaven and then sent down on earth.
Y/n's eyes widened as she looked out the window. "Where in the world..?" Y/n asked, confused thinking she had died and it was as if she was crossing the gate to heaven.
"A few people wanted to meet you so I brought you to their place" Hyunjin dismissed the question easily as he parked inside, getting out the car and opening the door for Y/n as he held his hand out for Y/nas she walked out with a furrowed eye.
"Is it about some kind of business?" Y/n asked, placing her palm over Hyunjin's as they walked to the door, "you could say that" Hyunjin responded as the door swung open with an older woman smiling brightly as she watched the two couples come up.
"Awh it's been such a long time since I've last seen you" She commented as Hyunjin gave an apologetic smile to her. "Good afternoon" Y/n greeted the elder lady. "Awww! No need to be so formal! Hyunjin, did you scare the girl or something?" The woman asked, Y/n couldn't do anything but be confused about the situation.
"Y/n, meet my mom"
