The huge inertia caused by braking almost caused Shen Gusi's head to hit the front windshield. Fortunately, he was protected by the seat belt and avoided a tragedy. He really hit it head-on.

Coming back to his senses, Shen Gusi stared at Xu Jiashen in a daze.

His dark eyes stared at him intently, reflecting the flames that seemed to devour him.

The protruding blue veins on his forehead, the creaking back teeth, the tightly pursed lips, and the gloomy and terrifying face made Shen Gusi forget what he was going to say for a moment, and he leaned towards the car door next to him anxiously.

"Is that what you think of me? Is that the kind of person I am in your mind?"

Shen Gusi could feel Xu Jiashen's anger. The anger that seemed to want to tear him to pieces made Shen Gusi have no doubt that he would really do that.

"Because you said you couldn't come over, I finished my work as quickly as possible and planned to move the company here. I didn't even have time to rest, and the first thing I thought of was to come find you. I was afraid that you were hungry and tired, so I specially found someone to take care of Lulu and take you out for dinner. As a result, the result..."

Xu Jiashen was so angry that he almost couldn't breathe.

"I did some pretty asshole things in the past, but that's not the past, is it? I apologized to you, I wanted to be nice to you, I wanted to make amends, I even wanted to marry you. I've changed so much, but you can't see it? Can't you just let go of the past and start over? Can't you forgive the asshole I was in the past? Is it so hard for me to start over with you?"

"I haven't slept for 13 hours in total these past few days. I've been dealing with work every day and I don't even have time to drink water. I just want to find a way to see you. Since you don't want to come to me, I have to go to you. And then, you miss me so much."

Xu Jiashen cried out to Shen Gusi, "Shen Gusi, do you still have a conscience?"

His accusations one by one made Shen Gusi feel ashamed. He felt that he had really done something wrong and had such terrible thoughts about Xu Jiashen.

"I'm sorry." Shen Gusi said in a low voice with guilt: "I'm wrong. I shouldn't think about you like this. I'm sorry."

Shen Gusi lowered his head and didn't have the courage to look at Xu Jiashen.

Maybe it was just because he was too scared.

Once bitten by a snake, one will be afraid of ropes for ten years. Shen Gusi remembered clearly everything Xu Jiashen did.

The feeling of waiting with joy in your heart, but then finding out in the end that you are being given away, is enough to experience once.

But some things have become Shen Gusi's subconscious reactions. For example, when Xu Jiashen suddenly becomes nice, he always subconsciously wonders what is behind this niceness.

  "I'm so sorry."

It was his own fault that made Xu Jiashen angry.

As early as when Shen Gusi said the first word "I'm sorry", Xu Jiashen actually didn't have much anger left.

The Shen Gusi in front of him lowered his head, looked docile, well-behaved and obedient, becoming exactly the same as before.

This should be the Shen Gusi, the one who is happy because he is happy, who revolves around him every day, who is delighted when he gets a little bit of sweetness, and whose eyes are full of him.
