"So, like," I started as I twirled the cork bottle between my fingers and watched as Melanie took care of my glass in the sink. "The fingering was nice and all, and you are really good at telling me how you feel...but I have a couple questions."

"Of course," she responded while drying her hands on a towel and looking over at me. "What are they?"

Before I could say anything, Haley walked in with a pair of massive headphones askew on her head. "Are y'all done?" She clicked something on her phone and moved the headphones down to her neck. She looked between the two of us.

"Uh, Addison wanted to ask me a few things..."

"I'm pretty sure she was talking about the fucking," I said while looking to the blonde for confirmation. "But, I don't mind if she's here when I ask you some questions."

"Oh, uh," Mel looked at Haley then to me, "Should I be nervous?"

Haley laughed, "Not unless you've got something to hide."

I pointed at her, "Exactly that! Hm, I like her." I really did. Despite the awkward and toxic past that I've heard about, Haley really wasn't an awful person so far. I mean, we've only talked for a few minutes, but I truly did not see a disingenuous attempt from her. Also, I had no idea Melanie had a thing for blondes...

I wonder if Melanie ever tried hitting on June...

Ha! If she did, I feel like June would've bragged to me about a possible assault. Plus, I'm pretty sure June was only with Adrienne...but then there's that weird thing she has going on with Riley...

Whatever, back to the present, Addison.

"You told me your first time was in your freshman year of high school...with a different girl older than you." Was it another lie? Did I make a mistake giving in before getting the answers to all my questions?

Melanie made a motion to respond, but it was Haley that did instead with a laugh. Actually, Haley was laughing so hard that she had to clutch the kitchen counter for support. She removed the headphones from her neck, and wiped the tears that formed from exertion.

"Oh my god," she said between laughs while we just stared at her. "That's hilarious. Are you talking about Talia?" Oh, so she knew the story too?

I looked over at Melanie, who was actually starting to blush, "Yeah...that Talia." What was happening?

"You know the story?" I said to Haley as she sniffled and her laughter died down.

"Haley, come on, why don't you go back to the living room and-" Melanie started as she walked over to Haley to turn her out of the kitchen.

"Nooooo, please, no," she pushed back and looked over to me, "please, let me tell this story! It's hilarious and embarrassing, and definitely blackmailing Mel."

Mel stopped pushing her away and groaned, "I wish I never told you that story."

I shrugged and Haley grinned, "Okay, so this," she motioned to Melanie, "wasn't always the persona Melanie had. Just imagine a younger version of Melanie with some confidence but clumsy as fuck."

Melanie burned red as she looked down at the floor. I don't think I've ever seen Melanie that embarrassed while I've known her. Haley giggled as she continued, "So, whatever, this upperclassman named Talia was her lab partner. They flirted. She came over - mood is set, whatever and all that." She laughed again, "Then, she made a move on Mel. First oops was when her teeth bashed into Talia's when she moved her head too fast."

"Ugh, just get over with the story already," Mel bit her lip and looked over at me nervously.

"Uh-huh, getting there. So, after that awkwardness, imagine her getting into it again and when her lab partner pillow princess laid down to...receive...guess what Mel did."
