"FUCKING JAM BURRITOS, it's fucking HOT." I groaned as I tugged my sweatpants off under the table. Thankfully, I was wearing my tennis skirt underneath my sweatpants, but jeez I hated temperature inconsistencies.
It was always cold as fuck in the high school, which I didn't understand considering I'm pretty sure it's expensive blasting air conditioning in a high school this big. So, of course I have to wear winter shit in there! It was a miracle how June was able to not get a single goosebump from her teeny tiny crop tops.
As for the sweaters during practice, I really hated tan lines and it was the only way to prevent them during practice. It was easier wearing a sweater so the fabric wouldn't stick to me unlike these long-sleeve work-out shirts we were given.
Blaire stared at me, "Addison, please do remind me where you find your vocabulary."
I shrugged, "Jam. Burritos. Awful combination, therefore awful word. Doesn't it fit nicely?"
The blonde shook her head and gave me a smile, "Sometimes, I just choose to not think about what's going on in that pretty little head of yours."
"Aw! You think I'm pretty, Blaire?" I teased then lowered my voice, "Don't tell that to June, you know she'd pick a fight."
I heard my other friend scoff to the side, "I'm right here, and no I would not pick a fight. I can definitely value when my best friend is pretty as fuck."
I shoved my sweatpants into my backpack, "Uh-huh, June. But you can't handle it when I say that Adrienne is pretty as fuck?"
A scowl instantly came upon her face, "She is not pretty."
I teased further, "She's just pretty fucking good in bed, huh?"
The blonde kept her scowl and I knew she was tempted to lean across the metal table and thump me on the head. "Shut up, Addison."
"Wait, do you don't hate her anymore?" I piped up with raised eyebrows.
"I didn't say that," June replied in distaste. Why couldn't the girl admit she liked Adrienne? June was kinda frustrating sometimes, at least she had someone extremely attractive and nice that was interested in her. Instead, June was still bent on the past, bitter that her and Adrienne used to be public enemies before they started fucking.
"What do you mean?" Blaire interrupted with some random hand movements, "You're fucking the girl, and you basically have a crush on her, and now you're saying you still hate her?"
Blaire did have a point, and to help her validate it, I stood up from my seat. I took in a deep breath as I grabbed the edges of the table with the intent to flip it over for dramatic effect. Except, the table was kinda heavier than I thought, so I was in drastic danger of ripping my arms apart until I sat down in my seat in utter defeat.
I sighed and mumbled between heated breaths, "Could you guys just imagine I flipped the table? It would really help with my self-esteem." That was until Blaire decided to lightly tap me upside the head. "Hey!"
"Addison, I'm pretty sure you are the only girl I know with loads of self-esteem." The blonde retorted as I rubbed the back of my head. I mean, I did have quite a bit of confidence when it came to words.
I teased, ""Oh sure, because I'm a cheery Asian, way to go for the stereotype, FRIENDS."
June slapped the table in order to grab our attention. I watched her wince as it definitely looked like it hurt a little bit. "Okay, neither of us aimed anything towards your ethnic heritage," June emphasized as she looked over to me, then Blaire, "And you, stop getting her all sidetracked."
