Miles, this has become routine now.
I never thought that this would be my habit in my previous timeline. It's not the vomit thing that put me in shock, it was how much I adapted to my new lifestyle. After all, I was a healthy witch so this was a surprise for me. The impact made me realize that I have to clean up my mess immediately.
As before, I cleaned all of the blood with my magic again. Even though it can hurt me more, it's better than leaving a stain and getting questioned. When I finished the final touch, everything in front of me was spotless again. It's too clean, not that someone won't notice it.
When washing my face, Philip's confession was still on my mind. Somehow, it was different from what I remembered. Maybe it's just my imagination. My eyes wandered to the roses that Philip gave to me in my hand.
I wonder if I affected this timeline more than I needed to.
After cleaning myself and saving the roses in my dimension storage, I went to my room to preserve the roses. On the way there, I stumbled into my black-haired friend. She seemed so unfocused, so I greeted her.
"Good afternoon, Eden."
"Oh, Hi. Viona. I know this is sudden but... Did you go out with Trix today?"
I blinked confusedly.
"No, I'm afraid not. Did something happen to her?"
"I see... So, you don't know either," she replied while her hand playing with her hair, "I just saw your best friend was crying when she got back."
What? Trix was crying?
"Did you... ask her?" I questioned her further.
"No, I didn't. Her eyes seemed worried about something so I didn't dare to ask her question."
My heart was beating nervously.
Trix never shows tears or feelings toward people who know her.
My finger tapped on my arm while several thoughts crowding my head.
This is bad, I need to see her now.
I tried to smile while thanking my informant, "Thank you for informing me, Eden."
"You're-"
Ignoring the light-headedness, I ran as fast to her bedroom. Even though my head ringing that Trix doesn't need me, I still go checking her.
Because, no matter what, she's always be important to me.
