At a place where bookshelves were full of magic books and collections of magic items, a cup of tea was served in front of me. It's a crowded space on the table, yet it's not messy. If I could describe it right, I would call it 'home.'

Unfortunately, this place isn't mine.

It was owned by the beautiful lady who was sitting across from me. She has pale skin, a pair of blue eyes, and pale blonde hair. a rare sight to see around here. I was here as her guest.

Honestly, I don't even know what I was doing here.

Philautia, the one I met after the guillotine fell down into my best friend's neck, invited me to her magic shop. Maybe because she needs-

"I don't need a customer, my dear."

She gazed at me compassionately, making my fingers fidgeting. Then, the blonde-haired lady sipped her tea and continued.

"I invited you because I have a pot of tea and some sweets."

"You meant... You only wanted a companion?" I inquired.

"For the tea party."

"For the tea party?"

I looked around, confused, and said, "I don't see anyone beside us."

The owner of blue eyes curled her pale lips.

"It's my habit to only hold parties with three people's quota," Philautia said as she sipped her tea once more.

I blinked. "Three?"

"Yes," she said as her finger did the counting. "You, me, and..."

One of my eyebrows raised, "And?"

"Your problem," she said, stopping her fingers at the third one.

I stared at her fingers dumbfoundedly and asked, "My problem?"

She nodded.

"Hahaha... Why-Why do you-you think that?" I denied her.

"My child," Her gaze became more intense while she spoke, "You were crying last minute ago and your eyes are still red. Will anyone believe you that you don't have any problems?"

I looked down as she said that and muttered, "well-"

"Besides," she pointed to the cookies, "You don't have to tell me about it."

"Pardon?"

Her blue eyes gazed at me meaningfully, then she smiled. "Just like I said before," she said while refilling my cup, "we are here only for a tea party."

"I see."

Suddenly, something flashed in my mind. It's quite absurd, but I have to ask her something. Maybe, she didn't have it. But, at least, I should try before giving up completely.

"Miss Philautia?"

"Yes?" She turned around while smiling and asked, "Do you want a magic book?"

I was dumbfounded and said, "Yeah. "Wait, did you just read my mind?"

"If you didn't mind," she replied nonchalantly.

"Haa..." I responded while looking at the bookshelves, "Never mind. I want to purchase a magic book, please."

"I understand," Philautia bowed politely, "please. Wait for a moment."

After she went to retrieve the book I wanted, my eyes continued to watch around the inside of the magic shop. It's really calming to be here. As if, I was in the orphanage once again. Several minutes later, the owner of the shop came back with a book. It has a navy-blue cover with silver words and a clock as its title.

"Here you go," Philautia offered it to me, then whispered, "I think this book wanted to be with you."

"Thank you," I said while receiving it carefully.

When it was opened, the owner of blue eyes explained its content. My head could only nod, as I didn't understand it at first. Thank goodness, she didn't give up. Gradually, I noticed that she switched from complicated grammar to simple words.

It became easier for me to understand it. I asked her some questions in between her explanations, and she answered them really well. She was on the last page of the book before I knew it. I clapped my hands to show her some admiration.

"So, what do you think?" she questioned.

"This book is awesome," I replied. "How much is it?"

The magic book seller shook her head and then said, "You already paid for it."

"What?" I blinked again.

"Spending time with me was enough," she answered while drinking her tea. "You don't have to pay for it anymore."

"Really?"

"Yes. I'm not the person who takes back my words."

Hearing what she had said, my heart became warm. It feels like I met Matron for the first time all over again.

"Thank you for the book," I thanked her while putting it in my bags, then I stood up to leave the shop.

"You're welcome," shesmiled, then she waved her hand, "after all... It's time for you to wake up."
