"Finally, the chaos of life has come to an end, and now we can live in peace," Aditya said while lying beside Aarohi.
"Umm, not really," she replied nervously.
"How do you expect peace after becoming the father of twins? Now, why are you waiting here? Go and check whether they're sleeping or not. I'm tired," she said and turned her back toward him.
"Don't change the topic, Aarohi," he said, giving her a look.
"I'm not changing the topic. It's your turn to change the babies' diapers. I did it in the morning; now night duty is yours," she said with a huge smile on her face.
"I saw your nervous smile, so tell me—what are you hiding from me?" he asked again.
"Mr. Goenka, first of all, go and fulfill your duty," she said, giving him a stern look.
"Fine," he said, got up from the bed, and walked toward the babies' crib in their room. Aarohi sat on the bed, resting her back on the headboard, admiring the cute interaction between her husband and their kids.
"Mum... Mumma," Aarush called her while trying to jump out of his father's hold.
"Calm down, Rush. Let me change your diaper, and then you can go to your Mumma," Aditya said while trying to change his son's diaper.
"No! Mumma!" Aarush screamed, trying to get out of his father's grip. Suddenly, he started to cry as Aditya wasn't letting him go. Aarohi, who was watching all the tantrums of her son, quickly went to him and held him in her arms.
"You see, I tried to change the diaper, but he didn't even let me do that," Aditya said as Aarohi glared at him.
"My son is less stubborn than you," Aarohi said, glaring at Aditya.
"Mm... Mumma," this time Aditi called her mother while standing inside her crib.
"Adu, my princess, let's go and have some fun together," he said sweetly to his daughter as he picked her up in his arms.
"Dada's princess called her Mumma and not Dada," Aarohi teased him.
"You enjoy your boy's company, and I'll enjoy my princess's company," he said as he moved toward the couch. But then Aditi started to cry.
