Ni-ki dropped you off at his house, before leaving himself.
"Stay here with Jay, don't go anywhere, understood ? " He added.
"Yes little brother, I understand. " You said.
"I'll try to be back as soon as I can. " He added.
"No rush, I have Jay, so I'll be fine. " You said.
"Okay, love you. " He added.
"Love you too ! " You said waving bye to him.
He left soon after.
You walked up the front steps and unlocked the door.
When suddenly...
"Happy birthday to you... " Jay said.
Your jaw dropped.
"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Kaira, happy birthday to you. " He said finally handing you the slice of cheesecake with a candle on it.
You sat down at the table.
"Aw Jay. " You said.
He smiled.
"Make a wish. " He added.
You closed your eyes and made a wish.
You clapped your hands after.
"Aw Jay, thank you. " You said giving him a hug.
"I thought you might like it. " He said hugging you back.
You took a bite and looked at him.
"Mm, delicious. " You said.
"Yeah ? Good. " He said sitting down next too you.
You fed him a bite.
"Yummy right? " You said.
"Oh shit. " He said amazed at how delicious it was.
"I have one more gift. " He said.
"What?! Jay?! You didn't have too. " You said.
"Well of course I did silly. " He said handing you a small red bag.
"Awe Jay. " You said softly taking it from him.
"Well open it goofball. " He said.
You looked down at the bag, and took out the tissue paper, there was a small card and a tiny box.
You opened the card first.
It read:

Thank you for being the bestest friend a guy could ever ask for, I'm so glad we met when we did, life would not be the same without you, thank you for always being there for me when I need it, and thank you for always taking care of Jake and Layla, I'm so grateful I've gotten to be apart of a few birthdays, but this year is special, happy 23rd birthday my favorite girl, and for more birthdays to come...

"Aw Jay, thank you, this is so sweet. " You said.

You looked at him and smiled again before opening the actual gift.
You pulled out the tiny box and placed it on the counter gently.
