After dropping Hoonie and Emily off back at Em's house, you and Heeseung were on your way back home.

You were still kinda good on time, but it was running out slowly...

When you got home, the first thing you did was run to the bathroom to take a shower.

"I'll be super quick, I promise! " You said.

"It's all good baby, take your time. " Heeseung said feeding Milo.

Getting ready...

You stood in front of the mirror, adjusting your dress for like the tenth time today, you loved it of course, but it didn't feel right, you still couldn't shake the nervous swirling energy inside you.

I mean tonight was huge, Heeseung's family event, a fundraiser filled with such important people, and it was also your first time ever attending anything like this. You couldn't help but feel completely out of your element, especially since it was also your first time ever meeting Heeseung's parents.

You sat down at your makeup table, as you began putting on your makeup, trying to calm your nerves down as much as possible.

When Heeseung walked in shortly after.

"Wow, my god baby. " He said impressed by your outfit.

You jumped at the sound of his voice as he entered his bedroom.

"Heeseung! You weren't supposed too see me in it yet silly. " You said.

"Oh I'm so sorry baby, I-I didn't know. " He said.

"Ugh, it's okay, just sit down. " You said.

"You okay? " He said concerningly.

You let out a sigh, as you glanced at your reflection.

"I-I don't know, Heeseung, this is your parents event we're talking about, and it's also a fundraiser, I've never been to something like this before, what if I don't belong there, or what if I mess up and say something stupid? " You said.

He raised an eyebrow as he walked over too you, he stood behind you and bent down a little to your level, as he fixed your hair, like he knew you were overthinking it.

"Kai, you're gonna be just fine, I promise. " He said pushing back your hair.

"You're still my guest at the end of the day KK, there's no need to impress anyone baby, I'll be there with you the whole time, you don't need to worry about anything. " He added.

You shifted your body a bit uncomfortably before speaking...

"But Heeseung, these are the kind of people who talk about stocks, business deals, and stuff, what do I even say too them, I know literally nothing about any of those things. " You said.

Heeseung looked up at you and smiled.

"Well baby, if it makes you feel any better, I've been to tons of these kind of events, I mean, when I was still living at home, my parents would throw one every other weekend, You just have to let it slide KK, people love talking about themselves, all you gotta do is, listen baby, that's it. " He said fixing your necklace.

"B-But what if I say something dumb, or something so unprofessional, then what ? " You said nervously...

Heeseung shrugged with a relaxed smile on his face.
