Same day at night
Everyone gathered at the dining area, and Wei Ying came in with the same robotic expressions. He greeted all the family members, ate his food silently, bowed to everyone, said goodnight, and went back to his room without uttering another word.

Day 2
Only the two ladies of the house, Madam Yu and Sanren, were at home when a loud shout broke the silence.
"Ahhh! You stupid monkey, Lan Zhan! Why did you come into my life?! I wish I could slap you! Ahhh!"
The shout echoed from Wei Ying’s room. Madam Yu, startled, clutched her chest and turned to Sanren. "Oh my god! This is getting worse."
Sanren sighed, shaking her head. "Yes! He’s been acting up all morning. Can you believe he even said Yanli’s food isn’t good? Yanli’s food! Who does that?"
Before Madam Yu could reply, Wei Ying appeared at the staircase. "Mom, I want new bedsheets for my room. This one’s ugly," he declared.
Madam Yu raised a brow. "A’Ying, you picked those sheets yourself just two days ago."
"I don’t care. I want new ones," he replied nonchalantly before turning back towards his room.
On his way up the stairs, he glanced at the maid who was dusting and remarked casually, "Oh, this maid looks like Rapunzel’s monster ugly aunt. You should audition for a movie!"
The maid froze, horrified and teary-eyed, as Wei Ying walked off without looking back. Cangse Sanren rushed to console the poor maid, muttering under her breath, "A’Ying is going way too far now."
The entire day passed with Wei Ying exhibiting his overly sassy and dramatic behavior, leaving everyone in the house emotionally drained.

Day 3, Morning
Wei Ying was sprawled across his bed like a crab, wallowing in his mood, when the door to his room creaked open. Without even turning to look, he knew who it was. Only one person dared to enter his room without knocking.
"Cheng Cheng, go back. I’m not in the mood to talk," he muttered, burying his face in the pillow.
"Oh, really? You’ll only talk when you feel like it? Guess what—I don’t care. Get up now," Jiang Cheng barked as he yanked the blanket off Wei Ying.
"Ahhh, Jiang Cheng! I will kill you!" Wei Ying yelled, sitting up abruptly and attempting to wrestle him. But Jiang Cheng was stronger and quickly restrained his hands before hoisting him off the bed.
"You’re impossible," Jiang Cheng muttered, carrying him toward the bathroom. Without another word, he tossed Wei Ying into the bathtub.
"Now, get ready. You have 10 minutes. I need to talk to you." Crossing his arms, he left the room, slamming the door behind him.
---
Ten minutes later, Wei Ying emerged, wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts. He found Jiang Cheng sitting on the couch, arms folded, waiting.
"Come here," Jiang Cheng said firmly. Wei Ying, knowing better than to argue when Jiang Cheng got serious, complied and plopped down beside him with an exaggerated pout.
"What now?" Wei Ying asked, glaring at him.
Jiang Cheng sighed deeply. "Look, Wuxian, I get it. I know exactly how you’re feeling—heartbroken, betrayed, confused. But can you at least try to consider Wangji's perspective?"
