The atmosphere was delightful today. The natural sounds of rustling leaves and chirping birds filled the air, creating a peaceful, soothing ambiance. The clear morning sky stretched above them, casting a warm, positive glow over the entire garden.

Nestled under the shade of a large tree, they had spread out their blanket, making themselves comfortable in their little corner of the world.

Wei Ying sat cross-legged on the blanket, while Lan Zhan lay down with his head resting on Wei Ying's lap. It had been over an hour since they arrived, and in that time, they had talked about everything—their daily lives, their work, and all the little things they hadn't had the chance to share before.

They had eaten together, and remnants of their meal—half-eaten snacks and empty food containers—were scattered around them. Throughout their conversation, they had changed positions multiple times—sometimes hugging, sometimes sitting close with their hands intertwined. But now, this was the position Lan Zhan found most comfortable.

With his head cradled in Wei Ying's lap, he gazed up at him effortlessly, admiring every small expression that flitted across his face. Meanwhile, Wei Ying ran his fingers through Lan Zhan's hair, absentmindedly playing with the silky strands, his touch full of affection.

Everything about this moment felt right. The date was right. The atmosphere was right. The place was right. And most importantly, the person sitting beside him—Lan Zhan—was right for him.

Wei Ying let his thoughts drift, a soft smile forming on his lips as he basked in the warmth of the moment.

"Wei Ying, you look lost," Lan Zhan's deep voice pulled him back to the present. He tightened his arms around Wei Ying's waist, holding him close. "What are you thinking about, Bunny?"

Wei Ying blinked, his smile growing as he turned to face Lan Zhan. "I was just thinking... how everything in my life is falling into place so perfectly. How happy I am right now."

Hearing this, Lan Zhan immediately sat up, his posture attentive, his golden eyes focused solely on Wei Ying.

Wei Ying chuckled at his reaction before continuing, "I'm happy that all of this is happening. That you happened in my life." He tilted his head playfully, his grin turning mischievous. "I mean, how lucky am I? My boyfriend is gorgeous, rich, and insanely intelligent—what more could I ask for?"

Lan Zhan looked at Wei Ying fondly as he animatedly explained how his angelic self deserved all the happiness in the world—which, of course, included having the most perfect boyfriend.

Lan Zhan didn't interrupt, simply watching with quiet adoration as Wei Ying continued to justify his own luck, occasionally tossing in dramatic hand gestures for emphasis.

They talked like this for another hour, their laughter blending seamlessly with the gentle rustling of leaves and distant birdsong.

Eventually, Lan Zhan reached for Wei Ying's hand, intertwining their fingers effortlessly. "Wei Ying," he said softly, "shall we take a walk around the park?"

Wei Ying beamed, squeezing Lan Zhan's hand. "Yes, please! But you better not complain if I run off to chase butterflies or climb trees!"

Lan Zhan sighed, the corners of his lips twitching in amusement. "Mn. I will catch you if you fall."

Wei Ying grinned mischievously. "You better, Lan Zhan! I have high expectations!"

And with that, they set off, walking hand in hand, basking in the golden glow of the morning sun.

The park was calm and silent. Wei Ying noticed that there were no people around them. At first, he thought maybe others were walking on the other side of the park, but as they continued their tour, he realized there was no one else at all. Only he and Lan Zhan were there.
