Last time on Chicago Fire

"Battalion 25 to main, secondary explosion, Mayday Emergency! Mayday! Mayday!" Casey screamed down the radio

"Copy that Battalion 25, all units, keep the air clear for Mayday transmission"

Boden was racing over there, he'd just finished his rounds at Firehouse 67, when the Mayday Emergency was called in.

"This is Lieutenant Joe Cruz, Squad 3. We have fallen in to what appears to be some sort of bunker, I have eyes on Firefighter Harold Capp and Firefighter Tony Ferraris, I have sustained a shoulder injury."

"Main to Battalion 25, what EMS plan, do you require?"

"A plan 3, a lot of civilian plus the firefighters who are trapped." Casey said.

"Copy that EMS plan 3 en route, be advised power should be off at your location."

"Squad 8. Truck 121. on scene."

Boden had finally arrived. "Casey! How can I help?"

"Main this is Battalion 25, transferring incident command over to 2-2-6." Casey said. "Chief I'm in over my head.

"Copy that, all units be advised, 2-2-6 is now in command of Mayday Transmission"

"That's okay." Boden said. "Truck 121 raise the aerial over the collapse zone, Engine 51 start to move the rubble off the collapsed zone."

"Squad 4. Truck 75. on scene"

"Okay people let's go." Boden said.

15 days later

"Okay listen up." Boden said. "First of all I would like to say welcome back to you all, it's go to see you all again. Second of all due to orders from the Commissioner's office, Lieutenant Severide will not be returning to OFI, Lieutenant Seager will remain Truck 81s Lieutenant until Kidd returns, and finally at the end of today's shift, Lieutenant Severide and Firefighter McHolland will be taking their respective officer tests. That is all dismissed."

"Soon I won't be the only Captain of the Firehouse." Herrmann said elbowing Severide

"Yeah, you'll still be Ranking officer at 51 when Boden does his rounds." Severide said. "Hey Cruz come here a sec."

"What's up Lieutenant?" Cruz asked.

"Listen if it were up to me, I'd have transferred back to OFI the second you came back, to be honest I wasn't planning on returning to 51 until Kidd had the baby."
Severide explained.

"All good Lieutenant." Cruz replied. "It was nice, to be Squad 3's Lieutenant, I think that's what I want to retire as, Squad 3's officer."

"Lieutenant or Captain?" Severide asked.

"Not sure." Cruz replied.

"Anyhow a little birdie told me that Javi and Annabelle are moving in together." Severide said

"Yeah, it feels weird, like it was just yesterday me and Chloe adopted him, now he's moving into his own house with his girlfriend of 8 years." Cruz sighed. "Wanna listen to the radio for a bit?"
