Ep. 20: Adventures In Chaositting PT. 1 (Sonic Crossover)

*It was a normal day in the Blook residence. Mettaton was going over the script for an upcoming film he'd been cast in while Mew Mew was practicing self-love and Napstablook tended to the snails in their backyard. All was normal until a blue blur sped past their house before zooming right back to stop at the doorstep. The bright blue visitor held a tiny form in his arms. He quickly rang the doorbell, making sure the small creature remained wrapped up in the warm blanket. It wasn't long before Mettaton answered the door.*

Mettaton: Oh, Sonic! Hello! It's good to see you!

Sonic: You too, Mettaton!

Mettaton: What brings you to Ebbot City?

Sonic: See, I kinda have a dilemma here. I have unfortunately been invited on a double date and I need a little help.

Mettaton: I didn't know you were a parent!

Sonic: N-No! No, no, no. I-I'm not a parent. It's not about a kid. I actually need you to babysit my chao for the day.

Mettaton: Oh, is that all you need? I'm a little busy today and so are my cousins. Can't any of your friends help?

Sonic: No, I already checked with them. Knuckles has to guard the Master Emerald, Team Dark is out on another mission, Tails and Cream are studying up before school starts again, and the Chaotix are taking on a murder case in Japan.

Mettaton: What about Big? Amy? Silver or Blaze?

Sonic: Big is taking one last fishing trip to look for Froggy again. Amy, Silver, and Blaze are the ones who invited me.

Mettaton: So, no one is available?

Sonic: Yeah, I can't leave him with Eggman either. He may be good at raising his own chao but, I wouldn't trust him with mine. You were the first person I could think of when I rushed over here.

Mettaton: I really can't today, Sonic. I have to memorize my lines for a huge production I'm starring in.

Sonic: Are you gonna be home all day at least?

Mettaton: I suppose I could clear most of my schedule. Don't expect any more last-minute favors.

Sonic: Great, I owe you one! Chonic, I need you to be on your best behavior while Mettaton looks after you today. Can you do that for me, buddy?

*Chonic nods his little head as Sonic hands him to Mettaton. He then gives him a bag of Chao fruit and snacks.*

Sonic: Alright, I'll see you at 7! I gotta go. Don't let him drag you into any trouble, Metta. I packed some food in case he gets hungry.

Mettaton: Thank you. Have fun on your double date!

Sonic: *nervously* Haha... Yeah, will do.

Mettaton: Don't worry, Amy's only making up for what you missed over the holidays.

Sonic: Wha- Hey, don't bring that up!

Mettaton: What? I'm only saying you missed your chance.

Sonic: Look, I don't wanna fight you. I don't want Chonic to see that. Besides, I'm not looking to get chased by your girlfriend all because you tattled on me and told her I dented your face. So, please don't come at me with that shipping nonsense.

Mettaton: Fine, I'll stop now.

Sonic: Thank you. Anyway, I'll see ya later. If I'm late, Amy won't be too happy.

Mettaton: Alright, I'll take good care of Chonic. Go enjoy yourself. Tell them I said hi!

Sonic: Sure thing! Bye!
