Ep 19: Uniqua's Birthday Revenge (Valentine's Special)

*Mettaton had decided to take a trip to the Mushroom Kingdom for his birthday. He wanted Napstablook and Mew Mew to enjoy it so, he brought them along. Little did he know, the princesses were all in on a prank planned by Uniqua. They took turns helping Uniqua get ready as well as distracting Mettaton. They even enlisted the help of New Donk's mayor Pauline.*

Pauline: And that's how Mario helped clean up New Donk City.

Mettaton: Wow, I never knew you had the promotion! That's super fabulous! Now, you're going off on adventures of your own and helping Mario? Darling, never stop. You're doing amazing things for New Donk.

Pauline: Thanks, I owe it all to the people who refused to let me quit. Anyway, the ladies have told me you're a big star in Ebbot City. They said something about you having multiple different programs all for different genres.

Mettaton: Of course! I started out with mostly movies and eventually made my own news program, game show, cooking show, and branched out from there into music and dance. It's been my dream to perform and I have been increasing my fame by collaborating with other celebrities. Although, I do believe it's also due to the fact I'm dating royalty.

Pauline: Speaking of royalty, I've been meaning to get in touch with the queen of mystics about some diplomatic business.

Mettaton: I'll be more than happy to let her know. I know her personally and I don't think she'd mind at all.

Pauline: Good, the sooner I can reach her the better. We've had a strange roach problem for the past week and haven't had any luck getting it cleaned up.

*Princesses Peach, Daisy, and Rosalina finally wheel a cart carrying a massive cake into the dining hall of the castle.*

Peach: I hope you all have saved room for cake.

Daisy: We worked extra hard on this one.

Mettaton: Awww! You darlings shouldn't have!

*Uniqua waited until the candles were lit to make her move. She slowly stood inside the giant cake and made her way to the top. Right as Peach was about to cut into the cake, Uniqua jumped out, dressed as a zombie.*

Rosalina: The cake is infected!

Daisy: Everyone take cover!

*Mettaton quickly moved away from the table. Everyone else followed suit.*

Uniqua: Finally! I got my revenge!

Mettaton: What?! You planned this?!

Uniqua: Yeah, I have been wanting to get back at you for jumping out of the cake on my 17th birthday, dude. That scared the shtick outta me. What better way to get revenge by doing the exact same thing to you.

*A smaller cart is mysteriously wheeled out next to the first one. There's a smaller cake on it that the princesses never baked.*

Uniqua: Hey, I don't remember planning two cakes. Peach, where did this one come from?

Peach: I never made that one. I have no clue where it came from.

Daisy: Ditto.

Pauline: That's weird. It's addressed to you, Uniqua.

Uniqua: Me? I think I know who sent it.

Rosalina: Shall we cut into it?

Uniqua: No! Leave that cake alone! Don't cut it!

*Cupid pops out of the second cake.*

Cupid: Hey, folks! Happy Valentine's Day! Speaking of which, I brought a gift Uniqua forgot to give today.

Uniqua: A-A gift? Pfft, I haven't passed out Valentine's since elementary school. Why would I need to bring a gift anymore?

*Cupid hands her the rigged bottle from the year before.*

Cupid: Hey, you're dating someone. I know this stuff because I'm literally the god of love. Also, don't look at your hands.

Uniqua: Why would I-

*Uniqua looks at her hands and notices a familiar red string.*

Uniqua: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-

Daisy: Wow. She still reacts like this.

Rosalina: Do you think she'll be okay?

Peach: Let her run it out. Eventually, she'll realize there's no way to escape that string.

Mettaton: It's been two years.
