Ep. 24: The Adventure Continues (The Return Of Tenna PT. 2)

*The group went around the town, mapping out more of it to have one larger map to use. They soon found the comic shop and went in.*

Tenna: Here we are! The location of the first crystal! But where could it be hiding?

Uniqua: Alright, split up and search every rack and shelf. There has to be a clue or a switch that'll lead us to it.

Tenna: Are your sure you don't want to stick together?

Uniqua: I know my strategies, Tenna. I have an army I help draw up battle plans for. Also, I am a gamer. Divide and conquer works in both settings depending on the circumstances.

*The crew checked every shelf, rack, counter, and stack for clues and hidden switches. Unfortunately, none of them had any luck.*

Hothead: Any luck, guys?

Mettaton: No, I'm not getting anything. These are like normal decor or part of the walls.

Hothead: I wouldn't usually do this since I'm a speedrunner, but I would try talking to the NPCs. Maybe one of them has a clue.

Hoth: It's worth a shot. Let me try.

*Hoth approached the only NPC in the comic shop, a Shadowguy standing at the register.*

Hoth: Excuse me, I have a question about the comics. What series do you have in stock? I'm looking for something specific.

*The Shadowguy pulled out a map of the shop with a detailed list of what comics are sold. Hoth looks it over, reading through the different titles.*

Uniqua: That does nothing to help us find the crystal, y'know.

*Hoth then gained the ability to pull books off shelves and racks.*

Hoth: Wait, I just unlocked a power-up! I can pull the books out! Maybe if I pull them out and rearrange them, I'll find where the crystal is being kept.

Digger: Go for it, Hoth!

*Hoth goes around the shop, grabbing various different comics.*

Hoth: I feel like these were out of place originally.

*The Shadowguy was shocked to find out there were comics on the wrong shelf. He then gestures to the correct shelf and removes the incorrect comics.*

Hoth: Thank you for moving those! I'll place these in the open spots for you!

*Hoth replaces all the comics on the correct shelf. Suddenly, the whole shelf moved aside to reveal a secret hatch.*

Uniqua: Nice going, Hoth! You found it!

Hoth: Now, let me get it open so we can move on to the next location. It looks like there's some sort of code we have to punch in.

Pixelle: Allow me to have a look. I checked the manual and it says I can access most computerized locks and mainframes just by touching the devices.

Hoth: G-Go right ahead, Pixelle.

*Pixelle approaches the hatch door, extending her hand out to the lock. Upon contact, she instantly starts hacking into the lock.*

Uniqua: Bro, why are you always down bad for smart, tough, and good-looking women?

Hoth: Not now, Uniqua.

Uniqua: Nah, bro. I'm genuinely asking. First, you were simping for me. Now, you're simping for Pixelle. Dude, can you just be chill or normal about your crushes?

Hoth: Listen, that's great advice. I wonder why you never did the same with Mettaton.

Uniqua: Bro, you can't just bring that up here! I'm trying to be chill about it now that we're together but, I still suck at that even after nearly three whole years!
